Our son is 7 years old and has been taking guitar lessons since he was 4.5. He started with a 1/4 size, then moved up to a 3/4 size brand Harvest. He liked the guitar ok, but once our school bought this Cordoba Protege and he got to play it during a lesson, he absolutely loved it and could tell right away it was a superior quality guitar. And he knew that he wanted that guitar to be his!!! We were able to buy it from the school and my son has been loving the sound, the look and the feel of it!! We are very happy with the quality of it!!! Thank you, Cordoba!! We also love the case it came with.

I bought this to bring with me as a casual vacation guitar from the high altitude desert to the sea level tropical sailboats and back. Big humidity swings. Didn't want to worry or baby something. Have had this for about 6 months. Got a soft gator case. It takes a day or two to adjust to different humidities and then fulfills my every need. It sounds warm and plays buttery. Fits as a carryon in most larger planes. Checked for the puddle jumpers. I really love this little thing as it's covered with sun tan lotion and lives like a wild animal. What every guitar dreams of.

I have an old beater classical from the 70's, a free gift from a family member, that I'd managed to make sound decent for several years as I was learning. I have since developed Ra and it became very difficult to play with the pain and flair ups in my hands. I needed something easier to play that was not too expensive. This cordoba was just the thing I needed. It sounds mellow and lovely, not cheap at all. I've had it for over a year now and I look forward to playing daily. I can play comfortably sitting on the couch and due to its slightly smaller size, it doesn't hurt as much to play. I also appreciated the fast shipping and the fact that the guitar was neatly and securely packaged. Customer service was pleasant as well. Very professional company. I will be ordering through them again when the time comes.
