Robust Mixer that's Ready for the Stage or the Studio

Looking for a mixer that makes your life easier when you're gigging? The Mackie ProFX30v3 30-channel USB mixer can do that and much, much more. The ProFX30v3 provides you with great sound and features found in larger mixers while remaining portable. This mixer is equipped with 25 Onyx preamps that provide top-notch sound for your keyboard, mics, and guitars. Once you're ready to go, you can use the onboard GigFX to add that little something extra to your mix. No matter if you're onstage or in your studio, the Mackie ProFX30v3 will always give you amazing audio quality.

Everything you need in one device

At Sweetwater, we want to make sure that your gig sounds the way you want it to. That's why we're excited to tell you more about what the Mackie ProFX30v3 can really do. Each channel starts with Mackie's Onyx preamp. Then you can use the 100Hz low cut control to keep your sound clean. Next, you can dial up to 60dB of gain before sending it through onboard compression and 3-band EQ. Every channel is equipped with FX level controls and a mute button. What's more, every mic input is equipped with 48V phantom power.

Improved digital effects

To make sure that you sound perfect, the Mackie ProFX30v3 has an onboard effects processor. The effects processor has a blend function, FX level control, and a quick mute switch. The GigFX effects engine offers up 24 different effects ranging from delays, reverbs, choruses, distortion, and even an auto-wah feature. All of these effects are accessed by a simple twist of the Presets knob.

Exceptional build quality

Mackie mixers have been a mainstay for studio and live sound for many reasons. Chief among these reasons is durability and build quality. You'll find these mixers in venues across the country covered in years of dust and grime. But when you power them up, they deliver top-notch sound and reliability. Third 5 Star order in a row!
We have three churches that share our building each weekend, so we purchased a 30 channel Mackie Mixer and a 100' snake so each church could have their own designated channels which helps each of us not have to recalibrate all our settings each week. It's working GREAT!
We also bought two new Yamaha 15" passive speakers and a couple of wall brackets that pivot and tilt to mount the speakers with.
We are very pleased with everything, including the service, free shipping and professionalism of Sweetwater. Would buy again without hesitation.

Way more than I needed but glad I have room to grow

It could easily be said I went way overboard when buying a 30 channel mixer.

I still have my Behringer Xenyx X2222USB which is about 6 years old and still working perfectly.

I got into Eurorack and was regularly dismayed at the price of mixer modules. Some of them were near or more than 1K, fewer were less than 500 and you might get 8 channels at the most with all of them.

For the price I paid for this Mackie in early 2025, I have 30 channels. The Erica Synths Link module lets me step down the output of my sound modules so I can plug them directly in to the mixer. I have two of the links. Pretty much everything in my rack can have its own channel.

I ONLY use my rack at home. If I played out of the house, this might have been a terrible move since the mixer is huge, but it works for me where I need it.

The Behringer had dedicated send and return sections on the panel. The Mackie does not. I miss that but it does have 4 aux out sends so I can plug into effects and run the output of the effects back to two unused channels if I want Stereo or just one if Mono.

The Behringer had knobs that were easy to get a grip on. The Mackie has no vertical ridges on the surface of the knob. It's mostly smooth but each knob has a single ridge that goes from top to bottom. It provides some grip but mostly I find them too slick to say I'm really happy with them. I will look for replacement knobs for the functions I use regularly or maybe find thin rubber plumbing washers to go around them.

So far, I'm not a big fan of the effects but that was a secondary consideration for me. The reverbs have something of a metallic feel to my ears, but I don't have a lot of experience with onboard effects so don't let that stop you from considering it. The delays were good. If there is a way to edit the effects even a little, I haven't figured it out yet.

Everything else works like I expect it to and it does it well.

Very Good Mixer
This is the second Mackie ProFXv3 we have bought in 6 months, and I am really thrilled with them both. We use this board in our sanctuary and it provides us with clear crisp sound, and just enough options to handle our needs currently. I would recommend if you are a small church or even a band just starting out, grab ahold of this board and get started. It is easy to learn, lots of nice functions and the sound is great. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when I play stuff off the computer through the USB port, I get a little carry over into channel 27/28 and I have not figured out why yet.
