The RODE Podcaster is based on their popular Broadcaster microphone - winner of the Radio World/US National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) "What's Cool" award. The Broadcaster has become an industry standard when studio sound quality is required for on-air applications. Now the Podcaster makes this quality available in a super-convenient USB version for the current generation of computer recording applications.

Tailored-for-voice frequency response

The Podcaster offers an end-address configuration, the clarity of RODE's tailored-for-voice frequency response, an "ON" LED, a direct headphone amp, and of course very low self noise. The microphone comes complete with a 5M USB cable. Optional extras include a shock mounting system and soon-to-be-released Anglepoise style table mount arm.

Awesome Microphone
This is one of the best microphone i have ever got, its a dynamic microphone but the sound clarity and so much clear and i am really surprised that this usb dynamic microphone, i dont think i can ever get any other dynamic microphone with usb, thanks to rode and i also got the procaster microphone, procaster microphone is awesome too the only thing i didnt like about procaster that i have to do take out the cable from the microphone and put it back in and also inside the amp as well which was too much work for me but since i got the podcaster microphone its just plug and play.

Great equipment for versatile recording
This has been the perfect mic for me. It's cut out a lot of editing time cleaning up audio quality. It's worked flawlessly and made the podcast sound much better. As an added bonus, I'm always getting compliments on how professional it looks on webinars and meetings.

Highly recommended
I'm a Christian podcaster, and I use the RODE Podcaster and the Gtrack Pro for two different programs.

The Podcaster is my selection for sermons because of its bright, crisp, studio-quality sound. It lifts my rather low-end voice to authoritative tones I find very satisfying.

(The other mic is preferred for intercession because of its smoothe, flat response which adds a creamy element to my low-end voice.)

I absolutely love the plug-and-play ease of the RODE Podcaster as well as its marvelous sound, reliability, quality build, and heft. No complaints about this mic - only praise.

Absolutely great mic!
There is absolutely nothing bad about this mic, it records very clear with no background noise. Very nice quality with a little weight on it. I love the headphone jack. Thank you Brandon Eden for helping me :)
