The electro-harmonix Pitch Fork polyphonic pitch shifter effects pedal brings a new realm of sound to your playing. Turn your 6-string guitar into an 18-string guitar or send single notes soaring into the stratosphere with razor-sharp precision. You can set the Pitch Fork for your desired pitch shift or use an expression pedal for continuous control of sweeps and multi-octave jumps. We love innovative products at Sweetwater, and the electro-harmonix Pitch Fork pedal delivers a rock-solid pitch shifter in a small package. Get yours today!

Transpose your guitar or bass up to three octaves

electro-harmonix's Pitch Fork polyphonic pitch shifter can make your 6-string guitar sing like it a 12- or 18-string guitar, emulate a synth, and get some truly unique sounds without glitches. Choose between single note pitch shifting or dual note (one up and one down) pitch shifting. It works great with bass, too, giving your bottom end even more bottom, and shimmer on the top! You can dial in almost any interval difference you want or use an expression pedal for real-time pitch control. Put a fuzz or distortion pedal in front of the Pitch Fork for synth-like tones and gritty lows.

electro-harmonix Pitch Fork Polyphonic Pitch Shifter Features:
  • A pitch shifting pedal with a +/- three octave range
  • Glitch-free tracking, even when you're playing your fastest
  • Hook up an expression pedal for real-time pitch shifting or glissando
  • Dry volume control lets you blend in your original signal for harmony effects
  • Latch or momentary modes affect the footswitch and expression pedal
  • Buffered bypass for maximum signal path integrity
  • Powered by 9V battery or the included 9.6DC-200 power supply
Add a rock-solid polyphonic pitch shifter to your pedal board with the electro-harmonix Pitch Fork!

most versatile pitch shifting pedal!
If you are in the market for pitch shifting pedals, let me create an argument why this should be the one for you. This pedal offers so much in terms of pitch shifting options (octaves, 5ths, drop tuning etc.) which is perfectly complimented by the blend knob. The detune setting even functions as a chorus pedal if you want. The form factor does not take up too much space, and the latch button essentially allows you to use the pedal as a momentary expression pedal. To add to the options, there is an expression pedal input if you'd like even more control. Overall this is the most versatile pedal in this format in my opinion, and it is much more than a one trick pony that some other pitch shifting pedals can be. If you want a pitch shifter, this is a safe option you will not regret.

Problem solver.
I use these so i can play in one key and have my bass output in another key. Handy if you need an E-flat and don't want to re-tune or bring a 5-string. Just put blend knob all the way to effect and a little trial and error and you're good to go.

The pitch shift pedal to buy
This is the one you want. Others are junk. This is the one here. Buy this one. Seriously can't stress it enough. Don't cheap out you will be disappointed. This one actually works. You can play full chords without it turning to mud.

A Must-Have Pedal
Our band plays a lot SRV, Jimi, G N' R, as well songs by other groups that tune 1/2 step down. Before purchasing the Pitch Fork pedal, we were constantly switching instruments to accommodate our vocalist. However, now that the guitarist and I (bassist) both have the Pitch Fork, we simply turn our pedals on and play the songs. Life just got a whole lot simpler for our band. So, if your band is encountering the same situation as ours did, this pedal is definitely for you.

As an FYI, I've tried the Pitch Fork in several different positions and it's always in perfect pitch.
