tc-helicon v is a great addition to my music room i bought this to help with my vocals. i have struggled for years getting my vocals to sound better i mainly play cover songs and do it for enjoyment its my therapy and for the love of music i am going to be singing as a solo gig Artist in the future this has many features it is easy to add or change the effects with the app and i also can say sweetwater is the place i shop they call you and make sure that this is the right product i am loving it and still learning all of the things it can do great value for the product would recommend it to anyone !

Aside from a 3 user preset capability, it's a very useful product for a vocalist. Pitch, Tone, auto Gain and clean effects. Bought one for my wife our vocalist and she loves it. She arranges her presets on the fly for effect on songs to fit. I currently use an earlier VoiceLive Play and soon Perform VK.

I was surprised with all these negative reviews! I used one of these for many years without any problem. By the way, it fits on the upper part of any mic stand. Those of you attempting to put it on the bottom should look at the dimensions first as it's a no brainer! This unit allows real time effects editing... need the delay for "Long cool woman in a black dress" just use the tap tempo. Need the "Purple Rain" vocal sound? set it up in seconds. Only 3 presets bothers you? the fact that you can change effects on the fly make it so you can have 3 favorites while tweaking your bread and butter sounds in real time. This unit was dependable night after night. Why the complaining on the Auto-gain!? It's simple, it works!! Many musicians never set the imput gain correctly and their proceccors are red lining all night!!! Front of house appreciates not getting a distorted signal from a vocalist with their own effects. I find most negative comments come from people that simply don't know how to use effects. This unit provides a pathway to learn how to choose effects that work on your voice. It's a solid product!

I have read a few reviews about the lack of access to software updates. If you buy one of these, it has the latest software update as of the time TC Helicon was shut down by TC Electronic. The software is stable as the product was in production a while before the shutdown, but don't expect future feature updates.

Firmware needs updating and the company has completely abandoned this product and the voice support preset software plus the app is gone
