High-output Twang for Your Tele

Delivering the highest output of all of Fender's single-coil pickups, Fender Deluxe Drive Telecaster Pickups are a sure-fire way to supercharge your Tele. These pickups are overwound for higher output, perfect for pummeling your amplifier's front end. Dial back your volume or roll back your amp's gain, and you've got classic Telecaster snap and chime. The pole pieces are Alnico 3 magnets for a focused tonality with plenty of dynamic range, and are flush-mounted for an even string response. Guitarists at Sweetwater agree — Fender Deluxe Drive Telecaster Pickups are a big sonic upgrade for any Telecaster.

Fender Deluxe Drive Telecaster Pickups Features:

  • High-output single-coil pickups for Telecaster guitars
  • Alnico 3 magnets for focused, dynamic tonality
  • Even string response thanks to flush-mounted pole pieces
  • Chrome neck pickup cover and installation hardware included

Awesome stuff!
Bought these to upgrade a "Chender" I bought. They sound awesome!
Rich sounding pickups at a good price: read for wiring!
These are a nice upgrade for the "fridge magnet" pickups that came on my Squire Tele. Be aware that the neck pickup cover shares the ground, which can cause problems with "fancy" switches. I had an Oak Grigsby 4-way switch, and when I first put them in the switch positions, all sounded the same, and I thought the PUs just had a similar sound. I later installed a "Free Way" 6-position switch, but two of the positions were silent. What was actually happening was the common ground in the neck pickup was causing all positions to be electrically the same. When I snipped the wire that grounds the metal cover and ran the cover to ground separately to make it a 3-wire (there are a lot of YT videos that show you how to do this), it solved the issue, and I got the snappy twang that I was looking for.

its as hot as youll get for single coil teles it sounds great through the JCM 800!
Nice Pickups
Got these for my MIM Tele to replace the ceramic pickups it came with. These are definitely an upgrade! They are more clear and defined, and not harsh. Nice to have a useable neck pickup also!
Music background: Almost famous
Killer!
Great pickups! Sound great with high gain and clean. I was weary about losing the "sparkle", but there was no issue. Don't hesitate to pick these up! For the price you can't beat these.
