I have an original Roland SH-101 synthesizer from the 80's. Loaned it to a friend years ago and finally got it back. ;). The batteries were left inside the unit and the acid leaked inside and the original power adapter was long gone. Be careful loaning instruments out... just saying.
Like most musicians, I have a bag full of old wall worst and power adapters, none of them would power my SH-101.
I researched the SH-101 and saw this power adapter mentioned. I ordered it from Sweetwater and just got it today. Plugged it into my SH-101 and it came right on! I'm thrilled!
This little adapter does just what it's supposed to do, nothing fancy just good clean power.

As usual this is my second power supply for my BOSS guitar effects pedals and it works excellent like my older (over 5 years old) Roland/ Boss power supply. I gave my older Boss power supply to my youngest son for his pedal effect for his bass guitar and that old power supply is still working fine.

So good I bought two.
