Faster and More Accurate Tuning

Graph Tech Ratio Locking Tuners allow you to tune your guitar more quickly and accurately than conventional designs. Each tuner in the set sports a custom gear ratio that makes each machine head react the same — roughly one full turn per whole tone. Because each string reacts the same, not only is tuning a more pleasant experience, but nailing alternate tunings is a much faster process. Graph Tech's mission statement is, "To Improve Your Playing Experience." And that's exactly what Graph Tech Ratio Locking Tuners deliver.

Graph Tech's Ratio technology

Though it's a simple idea, Graph Tech's Ratio technology completely changes the way you tune your guitar. All six tuners are outfitted with gear ratios that ensure you attain the same response from your wound low E string as you do your unwound high E. No matter what string you are tuning, you'll notice that one full turn of the tuner equates to roughly one whole tone pitch change. The Ratio technology makes nailing your pitch much easier and faster. And you'll love how fast it is to get to Drop D and other alternate tunings.

Easy installation with no drilling

One of the greatest benefits of the Ratio system is that each tuner installs onto your guitar's headstock without any drilling or other destructive procedures and are completely reversible. Graph Tech's InvisoMatch mounting plates ship with the tuners. The machine heads mount directly to those plates and aren't screwed into your instrument. As their name would suggest, the InvisoMatch mounting plates are completely hidden by the Ratio tuners to supply a sleek, low-profile look on any instrument.

Graph Tech

Graph Tech has made it their personal mission to supply the products that will make your instrument play better, sound better, and perform better. From the company's popular String Saver saddles to their TUSQ string nuts that can be found on countless manufacturers' guitars, the company's products are a mainstay in the guitar and bass industry. Just about every player at Sweetwater owns something created by Graph Tech, because — like their mission statement demands — they never fail to improve our playing experience.

Reviews

Great product great service!
I bought some Ratio tuning keys for my Les Paul, my salesperson was Rich Whittington. He really knew the product and got in touch with me within a few minutes of my message. I have been playing music professionally for over 40 years, I've owned hundreds of guitars so I usually know exactly what I want. Rich explained the keys very well to me, I had some performance questions. Not to mention he gave me a great deal, that's just as important as good service. Rich really knows his stuff, he's been doing it longer than I have. I think it's important to have a guy who knows the business just as much as the products. I will definitely buy again from Rich and Sweetwater.

Excellent Locking Tuners That Look Great And Work As Expected
I like that each tuner has a different ratio that matches the string, it really helps with accurately tuning your guitar. These also hold the tuning very well for a long period no matter how much bending you do.

Great locking tuners
Got these as an opened return item at good price. The gear ratio is perfect. Great locking mechanism. Drop in perfectly without molds into old Ibanez guitars. No complaints.
Easy Install, 2nd Set
I ended up with a Les Paul Studio that had these installed already, as I don't care for Gibson factory tuners anyway I left them on. However they looked like they'd been rode hard and put up wet. Just beat to death but worked fine. So I ordered a new set exactly the same and it was probably the easiest tuner install I've ever done (I've done more than enough for one man in one lifetime). Look great, work great, price represents that.

The best locking tuners
This is my 2nd set of Ratio tuners. The tuners themselves hold their own with any other locking tuners out there. What really makes them the best and worth paying a little extra for is the ease of installation thanks to their brilliant "Invisomatch" mounting plates. The plates make it easy. I didn't even have to do any drilling, since the plates enabled me to use the existing mounting screw holes from the previous tuners. I had the whole set on in less than 30 minutes.
