A Power Supply with Next-gen Features, Here at Last!

With so many electronics to power, musicians are finding fewer wall outlets available in their homes, at venues, and elsewhere. Instead of hitting a wall, Sweetwater recommends hitting “Add to Cart” on a sophisticated MONO Power Supply. This unit’s revolutionary compact size smoothly integrates with home studios, laptop rigs, and traditional pedalboards. Measuring just under one inch in height, Mono Power Supplies eliminate the bulk of yesterday’s power bricks, which makes mounting fast and painless with practically any board. However, these devices compromise nothing for the sake of portability. Power is isolated, clean, and filtered at multiple points for total reduction or elimination of noise. Short circuit, overload, and thermal protection constantly safeguard precious connected gear, and each outlet even has an LED indicator for instant troubleshooting at a glance. Moreover, each MONO Power Supply is lightweight and built with a resilient aluminum housing that protects against the rigors of travel, touring, and gigs. Seeking a next-generation power supply that’s efficient, flexible, and slim? The MONO Power Supply from Sweetwater is a superb pick we can't recommend enough.

Note: Multiple power supplies may be chained together to power up to 16 pedals. Large and Medium sizes can be linked and/or used to power a Small unit via USB.

Universal mounting

At Sweetwater, we know how pedalboard designs can be incredibly diverse and sometimes downright quirky. Each MONO Power Supply puts a big emphasis on exceptional compatibility with nearly all appropriately sized pedalboards. The MONO Power Supply’s tight 1-inch depth easily mounts beneath even the shallowest pedalboards, and its form factor emphasis assures a seamless fit almost without fail. It also gives players peace of mind this piece of gear is future-proof — switching boards down the line will hardly render any MONO Power Supply obsolete. Lastly, custom mounting brackets and hook-and-loop adhesive tape are included, so you can mount MONO your way as soon as it arrives!

Reviews

Amazing !
I have own several power supplys over the years , including mondo and several others from voodoolab, which I cat stress enough what a great company and customer support they provide. having said that this unit has blown my mind ,the wait the efficacy, the elegance are superb. I just hope their customer service is as good
Niiiice.....
Less noise, pedals sound better and louder, super slim, excellent!
Nice Low Profile Power Supply
I have a big pedal board and a small one built on a Pedaltrain Nano Max. I bought this for the Nano Max which has eight pedals on it. With the rubber feet on the Pedaltrain there is sufficient clearance to affix the power supply on the bottom side of the board. The power cable inputs just barely fit. I used the Velcro fastener on one long side (length) of the power supply and had to add a couple zip ties for insurance as the Nano Max doesn't have the surface area for the Velcro to cover the entire bottom of power supply. Before the power supply I was using a Truetone 1 Spot and was getting noise from an MXR Reverb and an Echoplex Delay (all the other pedals were quiet). Before the Mono power supply I had to use individual wall warts for those two pedals. With the Mono I am now dialed in, the wall warts are in a drawer, I have no noise, and less cables to mess with. So far this has been great and I it is a thumbs up from me.
Music background: A hack that is lucky to play in a band that gets gigs
Not very durable, unfortunately
For starters, The folks at Sweetwater have always been good, but this is way beyond warranty. I've had it since October 2023, and the performance is good overall. The quality of the hardware itself has flaws, though. Unfortunately the 24V input is quite fragile, and the small hole/tube where the power cable pin inserts into the center, has already broken in half. I have started noticing some power inconsistencies, so I try not to move the board much to avoid issues. Thankfully this one was not set up on my touring board, but in my studio, otherwise it'd probably failed a long time ago. I am a touring/working musician and really appreciate when manufacturers design something that's lasting. This is also not the cheapest power supply in the market, and I assumed it would perform well. Definitely not taking this on tour, or buying one again.

One of the things we love about MONO is their raw passion. Seriously - it might be hard to imagine being passionate about making gig bags and soft cases, but every time they come to Sweetwater to show off their latest creations, that message comes through loud and clear. That's what drives them to produce many of the best bags in the industry. Thin yet remarkably effective padding provides lightweight and slim protection, robust materials hold up to years of heavy use, and heavy-duty zippers won't fail on you. Even the stitching is a cut above the rest. That's the reason many gigging Sweetwater artists choose MONO, and we have access to everything! What's more, we see the same amazing design philosophy in their pedalboards and everything else they make. You can always trust MONO gear.
