Reviews

Only bass I'll ever need!
Such an amazing bass that I've been dreaming to have for years now. I was a little scared it wouldn't hold up to expectations, but it sings like a beast straight out of the box! So melodic and really punchy, you don't really need to use your knobs cause switching between finger style and picking gives you two completely opposite tones. This bass is for more than the Mike Dirnt/Green Day fan boy (which I am) but also any bass player that loves the full force of a p bass. Ginormous thank you to my sales engineer Levi for answering all my random questions and putting this beauty in my hands!
Music background: Music student, Drummer/percussionist, self taught guitarist/bassist
Great Bass
I couldn't be happier with this bass. From the way it looks to the way it feels to the playability. First class all the way! Fender just keeps to their reputation of building fine hand crafted instruments that a working musician can afford.
Music background: I have been playing the electric Bass for over 25 years.
I LOVE THIS BASS!!!
LOVE this bass. '51 Slab body, thick neck, old school tele headstock, '59 split single-coil..... Road Worn finish is amazing AND it sounds GREAT. Huge clean tones. A bass that sounds great and looks great - awesome!!! Another amazing Fender!!!

Forget skinny little "fast" necks and light weight bodies, etc.... This is Old School and how a Fender Precision bass should be done.

Sweetwater buying experience is 1st class.

Thank you Joe Schafer - SW Sales Engineer

I love it!!!
Huge shout out to Keith Klikas! I ordered this and he kept on Fender to ensure the bass arrived for me in the time frame promised for this order. Keith as been great all around!

Now, for the bass ... being a big Green Day fan I have wanted after this bass for a few years. The road worn look, the '51 telecaster style headstock shape look just beautiful to me.

The neck plays really well and I love the "old school" sound this bass provides. It is a very well designed and manufactured bass as you'd expect from Fender.

I love this bass and highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.
Mike Dirnt road worn P bass
Well another great purchase from Sweetwater! I've been looking at this bass for a year or so..finally took the plunge....what a great bass! I got the set up offered by Sweetwater and again...another excellent job.. out of the box stage ready.
I wasn't sure about the road worn finish but it grew on me.. love it. I go thru a GK 2x12 500 watt combo ( i got here as well another fantastic purchace!) Plugged it in and off we went... classic P bass... love the tone... .. classic P bass tone..Pick up sounds great.. no need to swap it out.... if you use a pic.. this is the bass your looking for great great pic tone.... i play with my fingers and it has a great tone as well...
Very very happy with this bass.... I always loved the Tele bass head ... stays in tune...i have nothing bad to say about this bass...Thick C neck fits like a glove..nice and smooth... I'm a P bass fan. all the necks just seem to fit just right..1.75..1.625...1.59 on this bass.. they all seem like there made for me...
Again ...fantastic service and follow up from Jason and his assistant... Looking forward to doing business with Sweetwater again!!!
