Snare Wires Give This Box Drum Snap and Sparkle

With its built-in bass port and two sets of fixed snare wires, the Pearl Primero Cajon delivers a wider range of percussion sounds than many other cajons. The bass sound is deep and rich. And the snares add brightness and articulation, giving your box drum the sparkle it needs to hold its place in the mix. Drummers and percussionists at Sweetwater have consistently turned to Pearl drums for their quality and tone. For acoustic gigs and recording sessions, the Pearl Primero Cajon is an excellent performer.

Pearl Primero Crate-style Cajon Features:

  • Box drum with MDF box construction and meranti faceplate
  • Fixed snare wires that add snap and sparkle to your tone
  • Built-in port for deep, rich bass tone

Reviews

Fast shipping; Great sounding cajon!!
Product was packed well and shipped fast! The cajon sounds amazing with a clear snare and a loud bass sound.
Drum box
Absolutely one of the best I've used…such a shame to have the flood swoop it all away
Music background: Guitar Sax drums
Fun, well-built, good/great sounding addition to my home.
I'm not really a percussionist so I can't really judge the sound, but it sounds to me, and my friends that are percussionists are very impressed with the sounds the can make with it and the quality. I actually got, primarily, as a side table in my living room and for others to bang whenever they want while I play guitar, bass or piano. I think it's GREAT. I recommend it.
Music background: Hack guitarist.
Looks Good ~ Sounds Good
This thing is just Awesome. Love the graphics. Fun to play and sounds great.
I am 68 and been playing guitar for 20+ years. Played drums when a teenager. The drummer in me just had to have it.
Thank You Sweetwater for great deals, warranty and free shipping. Also Thank You Mike Wright. I appreciate the answers to all my questions and the follow up calls.
Music background: Retired and having fun...
Best bang for your buck
I know a lot of people with Cajons I got the pearl primero and it sounds better than all of them except a $ shlagwerk and it's still comparable to that. This is a great Cajon it even has better bass than the meinl bass Cajon that's the best seller on Sweetwater
