Monitor Mixing — Simplified

The Behringer P24 is an intuitive personal monitor mixer and talkback solution for the company’s StageConnect-equipped devices. Equipped with 60mm faders, the P24 provides you with hands-on control, while 12 stereo groups and one local aux input ensure straightforward personal mixing from stereo stem feeds. Moreover, the P24 includes onboard reverb and built-in stereo ambience microphones to add space to dry input signals. You’ll appreciate the simplified, 1-knob design of the P24’s per-channel Tilt-EQ, plus you get an adjustable limiter that certifies safe monitoring levels. You also get StageTalk intercom operability, return channels for crafting IEM mixes, a stereo aux input for local sources, an external dynamic mic input for giving cues to bandmates or communicating with the mix engineer, a footswitch input for hands-free talkback operation, and more. Finally, the P24 provides pristine, low-latency audio up to 24-bit/48kHz, along with a stable operation range of more than 130 feet over a single XLR cable. In summary, the Behringer P24 makes monitor mixing easy.

Jam-packed with connectivity

Here at Sweetwater, we’re astounded by how much connectivity Behringer packed into the P24. To start with, you get 12 stereo groups and one local auxiliary input, which simplifies balancing personal mixes from stereo stem feeds. Return channels allow you to route personal mixes back to a P24Hub for connection to wireless IEM transmitters. Also, an analog stereo auxiliary input accommodates local sources, such as a click track, on a 1/4-inch TRS connector. You can also connect an external dynamic microphone via a 1/4-inch TRS cable to give cues to bandmates or to communicate with the mix engineer. Furthermore, a footswitch input facilitates hands-free talkback operation, and a DC power supply allows you to daisy-chain two or more P24 mixers. Finally, the P24 houses an output with enough power to drive low-impedance headphones and in-ears — even in loud environments.

Reviews

These are amazing!
I'm doing sound for a big band and they all seem to love them. They love being able to have that ambient room noise and the control to pan or mix whatever they want is really been positive. Used them for another band who normally uses wedges. So I set them up with the P24s and connected them to the wedge and they too loved them. Enough to where them may just go with in ears and trust them.

So Far So Good
I purchased 5 mixers and two hubs, I use them with two Wing mixers, so far I haven't had any problems with the system works fine. The band I am with is using some wedges and in ears, these little mixers will do both no problem, I seen to have plenty of volume wired directly to the mixer with earbuds, actually when I play I use headphones, no problem with volume like one review mentioned.
I just may be investing in 5 more of the mixers this spring so I can use the two Wing mixers in different locations, with monitors both Wing racks already have the p24 hub in them.
So for now I am going to leave it as, they work like they should and sound fine, easy to set up, I am not sure why some are having problems such that they are but will wait and see what happens.

Great Mixer but better Yet Great Customer Service
Love the P24 but it was very Flawed from the Beginning, Thank god to all the Firmware Updates,
Several Months after Purchasing Two Units for our Band, one of the Units Started Flipping out while on live shows.
we reported to Sweetwater Immediately with the issue, Candece Irizarry and Quinn Heiking were quick to deal with the issue and in a super fast manner Shipped us a new unit before our next big Show. That's what I call Amazing Customer Service.

Big upgrade over P-16s
I was slowly investing in the original P-16 system which had me running quite the setup from messy DAW outputs to dual ADAT to the hub, to the P-16 mixers. While buying a wing last month, I saw these, which can connect straight out via Stage Connect (DMX). They've got Better headroom, a built in mic mount, built in reverb, stereo channels. We're only a three piece, but it's always a worry when introducing new tech at practice seeing how/if everyone can adjust. We'd already had the P-16's so it wasn't entirely foreign. Being able to use mic cables is a game changer. Being similarly priced is a game changer, having separate faders is a game changer. I'll be bringing these so everyone can adjust their own monitor mix at gigs from now on. Behringer is killing it these days.
Too many glitches
Purchased a p24 hub and six p24 mixers for my church. Three of them worked perfect and the other three had issues within a month of purchase. 2 of these los signal constantly and we could not understand why. We changed different cables, tried different brands, both DMX and XlR, but even at short distance (40ft cable) it would loose signal. We struggled with the talkback always triggering on by itself and we could not fix it with updates, routing, or "disabling" it from the p24s. Eventually I got tired and got the P16hq's instead. The p24's sound much better when they work, but the only worked less than half of the time. Not worth it in my opinion.
