Reviews

Brightest string I've tried yet
I have an all-hardwood guitar that is darker in tone and I have gone through many a string to try and brighten it up, steering towards 80/20 bronze strings, since the Phosphor Bronze strings are too dark: Elixir, Martin SP, D'Addario, Ernie Ball Aluminum, and now these Ernie Ball Paradigms, which are the brightest and best I've heard yet for this guitar. It brings out the mid and lower register of the wound strings so that they are heard more clearly--kind of like removing the mud with an EQ; they sound great both acoustically and when using the onboard K&K into my PA. The Martin SPs are also good, but not quite as bright and their brightness doesn't last as long, maybe 3-4 days of heavy playing (gigging 2-3 times a week and rehearsing/learning new songs/writing the other days) whereas the Paradigms last about 10 days or so on brightness.
So, it all depends on your application. For this guitar, they're the best I've found so far.
Love EB coated strings!!!!
I've used EB titanium coated strings on my electrics for years. LOVE THEM!!!! They normally last most of a year without hardly losing their tone.

Paradigm 80/20's are the best acoustic strings I've used. But they ARE breakable!!! Fortunately EB will replace them within their rules. But I have found they start falling apart after 2 months.
Still better than anything I've ever tried out there.
As for tone and playability...
None better.
LOVE THEM!!!!!!

Great sound, very bright. So far after of a couple weeks with regular play, 4 times a week/hour minimal, they sound as though I just put them on. Looking forward to finding out the duration period before having to change them.
Thanks for the heads up on these Matt Keager, my sales engineer.
