Keep Jitter to a Minimum with the OctaMic II
Stop annoying jitter in your studio with the RME OctaMic II. This 8-channel A/D converter keeps your audio rock solid from input to output. You'll love the convenience of eight XLR combo jack inputs with individual phantom power, phase, and low cut controls. The OctaMic II features RME's SteadyClock technology that virtually eliminates jitter in your recordings. Optical and analog outputs give you the flexibility to get your signal where you need it and how you need it. Your audio has never sounded better thanks to the latest A/D converters capable of 24-bit/192kHz and a signal to noise ratio of 110dB. Get clear, precise, jitter-free audio with the RME OctaMic II.
Flexible and convenient I/O
The RME OctaMic II has a large selection of inputs and outputs to handle any situation you may come up against. Eight phantom-powered XLR combo jacks let you plug in anything from condenser microphones to guitars to keyboards. Each channel gives you switches for phase, low cut, and phantom power. An improved input-circuit design allows you tons of headroom and a gain range up to 60dB. You have access to eight stereo TRS-balanced line outputs, dual optical outputs, and a single DB-25 output. The dual ADAT optical outs can be configured for S/MUX up to 96kHz.

Detect clipping easier than ever
No more having to watch LED meters like a hawk to catch clipping! The RME OctaMic's Clip Hold mode detects clipping and causes the corresponding LED to flash continually. This makes it easy to see which of your channels is having constant overages.
SteadyClock for optimal converter quality
SteadyClock is a proprietary clock technology for maximum jitter suppression. SteadyClock guarantees superb sound quality completely independent from the quality of the current reference clock. The OctaMic II uses the latest generation of A/D converters capable of giving you up to 24-bit/192kHz sampling frequency at an S/N ratio of 110dB.
