Drummers: express yourself melodically
The Octoban was introduced in 1978 and initially endorsed by the great Billy Cobham (Miles Davis). Many other revered drummers have since relied on TAMA Octobans to help express their melodic ideas, including Simon Phillips (Toto) and Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson). With a full set of eight Octobans, you'll even be able to play entire 1-octave scales and modes, opening the door to a horizon of melodic and rhythmic possibilities. TAMA Octobans have been at the forefront of progressive music for decades, and Sweetwater timekeepers see no signs of that changing anytime soon.
