The Universal E String
The Pirastro No. 1 E String is a highly responsive string that blends well with any string set. The No. 1 produces a warm, sweet sound with plenty of brilliance, and it isn’t prone to any whistling when playing the open E. Its coated carbon steel core is wrapped with a thin chrome steel flat wire, making it incredibly tensile, durable, and resistant to corrosion and other issues caused by hand perspiration.
