Take Your Tele’s Performance to the Next Level

Whether you’re putting together a “Partscaster” or looking to take your stock instrument to the next level, Fender’s Satin Roasted Maple Telecaster Neck should be at the top of your list! This neck’s roasted maple construction dramatically increases structural stability, offering superb resistance to shifting due to seasonal or environmental changes. A sleek, slim Flat Oval profile and 12-inch radius ensure peak performance across all 22 of this neck’s jumbo frets, forming the ideal platform for technique-heavy guitarists or any musician whose playability tastes skew toward the “modern” end of the spectrum. Lastly, Sweetwater guitarists particularly appreciate how this neck’s combination of a smooth satin finish and comfortably rolled fret ends deliver a nearly frictionless feel in the palm of your hand.

Note: Every neck and guitar are different, and a final setup, including filing the nut slots and a final fret leveling, may be required after installation on your guitar. Call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer if you have any questions about upgrading or replacing the neck on your Fender guitar or bass.

Roasted maple neck and fingerboard

What’s so special about roasted maple? In comparison to a standard maple neck, a roasted maple neck’s lower moisture content is said to increase structural stability. This results in greater resistance to changes in environment, ensuring that your neck relief and overall setup remain solid for much longer than with a standard maple neck. Finally, roasted maple’s dark amber hue imparts an elegant edge to any instrument’s aesthetics.

Fender Satin Roasted Maple Telecaster Replacement Neck Features:

  • Roasted maple construction provides superb structural stability that’s highly resistant to seasonal and environmental shifting
  • Flat Oval profile is sure to please technique-heavy players and guitarists who favor a slimmer neck profile
  • Matching 12-inch-radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets for effortless playability and fret-out-free bends
  • Sleek satin finish and rolled fingerboard edges grant a broken-in feel from day 1
  • Designed to fit on many Squier and Fender Telecaster models

Great Upgrade From Standard MIM 9.5" Radius to a 12" Radius!!
I upgraded the neck on my favorite Fender Tele, a MIM (2011 6oth Anniv model) black Tele. I wanted a flatter fingerboard so I could lower my action and get a faster neck. It achieved all those goals, it looks great, and it plays like a dream! Since it is roasted maple, my already tuning-stable Tele got even more stable. Fender chooses to make guitarists spend a lot more money to get into one of their Tele's with a 12" or higher fingerboard radiuses but this neck will make you pause spending more $$ than necessary to get a great, fast-playing neck. Highly recommended!!

It’s impossible to imagine a world without Fender guitars, and if you’re like many of the guitarists at Sweetwater, then Fender not only made the first guitar you ever bought " they made the last one too! From building the first mass-produced solidbody electric guitars and basses in the 1950s to creating some of the most influential amplifier designs in history, it’s no wonder why Fender is one of the biggest names in the business. As one of the world’s largest Fender dealers, we have countless guitars, basses, amps, effects pedals, and accessories in stock and ready to ship, whenever you need them. We’re always getting our hands on their latest creations, and there’s nothing we love more than to tell our customers all about them!
