A flood of top-shelf features
At Sweetwater, we’re blown away by how many features Jackson Audio packed into the New Wave’s compact housing. Depth, Speed, and Tone knobs give you plenty of tone-shaping power. The Phase/Ratio knob changes the phase alignment of the pedal’s two stereo channels or, depending on the preset mode selected, changes the multiplier of the right channel. The Delay knob adjusts the center frequency of the BBD chips, allowing for loose or tight chorus tones. Five digitally controlled LFO waveshapes are available. You also get tap tempo, a programmable slow and fast setting for use with an expression pedal or the pedal’s Ramp feature, and an ’80s-inspired latch mode for momentary activation of the effect. Full MIDI control, and expression pedal input, and true-bypass switching round out the Jackson Audio New Wave’s robust feature set.
