Reviews

For guitar or bass
This fits both Fender basses and Strats and Telecasters. It's suitable for any Fender instrument without a Micro-tilt adjustment.

In recent years, Fender has changed this part to a lighter, thinner piece of non-ferrous metal, presumably to save costs. Traditionally, this part was made from solid chrome-plated steel. I don't know what it is now, but it's definitely not steel. It doesn't pass the magnet test. Upon receiving this you'll probably question if it's a genuine Fender part or a counterfeit part. I assure you it's real. It just feels cheap. The packaging indicates this part is Made in USA.

On the plus side, if you want to save nearly an ounce on the overall weight of your guitar, this might do the trick. Seriously. A lie I'm telling myself to convince myself that this is superior to the classic steel neck plate is that because this plate is thinner, more screw threads make contact with the neck.
