It's a POG, Just a Lot Smaller!

What's smaller than Micro? Nano! Electro-Harmonix now offers the Nano POG polyphonic octave generator pedal, giving you the same 12-string, organ, and brand-new sounds as the other POG pedals in the line. But now you can save even more pedalboard real-estate with the smallest version of this classic design yet. It works great with bass too, giving you some truly funky options to tweak your tone. Get all the octave control and glitchless operation you love without having to pull another pedal from your board, with the Electro-Harmonix Nano POG.

Electro-Harmonix Nano POG Polyphonic Octave Generator Pedal at a Glance:
  • Tiny footprint saves valuable pedalboard space
  • Same great POG performance as their larger pedals
  • Great emulations, and palette for creating unique tones
Tiny footprint saves valuable pedalboard space

Whether it's weight restrictions when flying, carting your gear to and from gigs, space in the back of the van, or just not having a large enough pedalboard, keeping the size of your board down is vital, so every inch of your board is precious space. If we were to put every pedal we wanted on our boards they'd be as big as the stages we're playing. Well, Electro-Harmonix is here to make sure you can at least get one more precious tone in your rig. Their Nano POG polyphonic octave generator pedal gives you all the power of the larger POGs, but in their convenient Nano sized box.

Same great POG performance as their larger pedals

So often with smaller format pedals you are forced to sacrifice some functionality or performance for the sake of the smaller footprint. Not so with the Electro-Harmonix Nano Pedal! Go ahead and grab the knobs to blend your sub octave and octave up with your dry sound. And there are outputs for the effected out along with a dry output to send the different sounds to separate amplifiers. There's an incredible amount of juice in this pedal for it's diminutive size.

Great emulations, and palette for creating unique tones

Not only can you get some of the most out-there synth-type sounds in a guitar pedal format, but the Electro-Harmonix Nano POG is a master at emulating organ, bass, 12-string guitar sounds, and more. Seems to good to be true from a tiny little pedal with only three knobs, but this is no one-trick-pony. Blending the octave up with your dry signal sounds like a great electric 12-string. Drop everything except the sub octave and your bass player will be a little nervous for their job.

Electro-Harmonix Nano POG Polyphonic Octave Generator Pedal Features:
  • Small polyphonic octave generator pedal
  • Small size is a perfect addition to your pedalboard
  • Octaves up, sub octave, and dry tone control
  • Dry and effected outputs
  • Sturdy, compact housing
The Nano POG has so much power in such a small housing!

Reviews

Mostly great
The Nano Pog tracks single notes and chords very well. I use it mostly for the sub octave function with that knob at about 11 0'clock, octave up off and dry blend all the way up to get the most natural tone. Bringing the octave up knob to the same level yields an acoustic-ish 12 string-ish guitar tone, especially with single coils bridge and neck pickups blended together. It gives an added dimension and gives a unique tone for certain applications. Back off on the dry blend at this setting and utilize your volume pedal and you can get some organ like effects. Great little pedal and I trust the footswitch more than the competitor's sub/up of the same size. Only minor issue is that the input jack on mine doesn't play well with all patch cables. Both EBS Gold and Ernie Ball flat cables had about an 1/8" of play (in and out) once they clicked in. All the way in didn't connect. Had to pull out until it stopped for it to connect. Had a meaty Planet Waves gold patch cable in my collection that fits really tight and connects just fine without any movement once inserted. Problem solved. No issue at all with the output jack - the EBS Gold cable fits tight and connects fine. I've not seen any other complaints of this kind regarding this pedal, so probably just a unique issue with mine. But all good.

Nano POG is big FUN
I've been using the Nano for six years and still find new sounds, applications, inspiration, and fun. I use it mostly for guitar and bass. It's made it's way onto all my pedal boards at one time or another. The effects can go from subtle to saturated. So much fun! And…my sales engineer Chris N. always makes scoring the right gear a pleasure! Rock on and get a POG already!

This Pedal is Amazing
I play a Harmonica. This pedal gives me a totally different sound when I engage the octave up and down harmonics!
Just what I needed
The range of tone is incredible and vast. When I first opened it and set it up I played for an hour straight. Didn't even get to 20% of what I can do. I should've had this 10 years ago. If you're on the fence, do it. You won't regret it. Plus I've been dealing with Sweetwater recently and they've been really really excellent. Hats off to you guys at Sweetwater.
Pog Out!
A true polyphonic octaver with a minuscule footprint, and the quality of Electro Harmonix, that lets you stomp your way to new sounds to trademark your talent.

Just get it. You'll be happy!
