Lightweight and Packed with Powerful DSP

The Behringer NX6000D packs impressive power into a lightweight, cool-running unit. This power amplifier delivers 3,000 watts/channel into 4 ohms or 1,600 watts/channel into 8 ohms, giving you plenty of headroom to work with. Experience low noise, superior transient response, and low power consumption, thanks to an efficient switch-mode power supply. Benefit from a linear frequency response at any speaker load, by virtue of the NX6000D's SmartSense loudspeaker impedance compensation. Zero-attack limiters supply maximum output with reliable overload protection. Beyond that, high-performance DSP offers sophisticated delay, a crossover, EQ, dynamics processing, and more. The NX6000D includes reliable twist-lock speaker connectors and precise 4-segment LED metering.

Lightweight and efficient Class D amplifier technology

Thanks to revolutionary Class D technology with "near-zero" thermal buildup, the lightweight NX6000D runs very cool, no more massive heat sinks or toroid transformers. We've been impressed with the punch and clarity of this Class D power amp at Sweetwater, and we're sure your band will be too.

Linear frequency response at any speaker load

The NX6000D punches well above its weight. Behringer's SmartSense Technology yields a linear frequency response at any speaker load impedance. On top of that, the NX6000D's impressive damping factor offers superior amplifier control over your speakers, ensuring top-notch sound reproduction. When combined with quality loudspeakers, the NX6000D yields powerful, dynamic bass and ultra-smooth high-frequencies.

Top-shelf sound from high-performance DSP

The NX6000D comes loaded with high-performance DSP. Benefit from sophisticated delay. Dial in the perfect crossover setting with three filter types at up to 48dB/octave. You also get eight parametric and two dynamic EQs, along with dynamics processing and lockable security settings. A convenient front-panel LCD screen allows easy adjustments from the front of the NX6000D, without the need for a computer. And thanks to 24-bit/96kHz converters, the NX6000D delivers top-shelf sound and ample dynamic range.

Designed for exceptional ease-of-use

Operating the NX6000D is dead simple. Benefit from at-a-glance confirmation of your system's vital signs, by way of the NX6000D's simple front-panel controls and indicators. Positive-detent gain controls with signal level LEDs on each channel make gain-staging a piece of cake. Rear-panel combo XLR and 1/4" TRS input connectors ensure compatibility with just about any source. Reliable twist-lock speaker connectors prevent unwanted "unplugging" incidents. You also get switchable dual mono, stereo, and mono bridge modes.

Reviews

My restaurant gets down
I have this amplifier driving a pair of kpt884sw in my restaurant. I can knock stuff off the walls, maintain high SPL, and still have gas left in the tank. Highly recommend.

This unit is exceptional. It's more then I expected of it. This unit Runs quiet and cool.
I want to love this amp.
I got my first 6000D a few years ago and it's been running strong so I bought another last year since our business ramped up dramatically after Covid. The amp is packed with features and plenty of power. Probably not as much as rated but it pushes my Yorkville 15" cabinets plenty. Well one night I pushed harder than I should have I guess because the amp went into protect. It never recovered even after cooling down and cycling power. Had to send in for repair. Still had my older one in circulation. One night it was playing one of the speakers lower than the other and when I turned it up to match the volume it instantly distorted and went into clipping on the one channel. I had to very slowly and precisely turn it up to match as close as possible just to get through the night. I love the versatility of this amp and want to love it but I just don't feel confident using it gor larger events. I bit the bullet and purchased a QSC GX8 and just use the 6000d for lighter loads and take a smaller Crown amp as a backup. Not the best peace of mind.
