Ride with Legendary Fender Tone and Modern Flexibility

Combining years of amp modeling excellence with decades of experience building some of the most legendary analog amps in history, the Fender Mustang LTX50 serves as a formidable leap into the modern age of guitar amp tone and utility. With a full suite of 50 amp and effect models, complete signal chain customization, and 100 preset slots, this amp opens up a sandbox of tone-shaping possibilities for all players. While suitable for the stage and recording scenarios, the LTX50 makes for the perfect practice amp — Sweetwater guitarists are quick to point out the Auxiliary and Bluetooth inputs that allow you to jam with your favorite tracks, as well as more detailed settings controls from your mobile device via the free-to-download Fender Tone app. Add in a sonically transparent 12-inch Celestion speaker, an effects loop for adding your favorite pedals, a built-in tuner, USB recording, and a dedicated Line Out, and the Fender Mustang LTX50 is ready to supercharge your musical creativity.

Limitless control and practice options

Dialing in your perfect sound with the Mustang LTX50 is a walk in the park. The intuitive controls on the front panel offer instant access to the most common amp settings, while deeper customization takes place with the rotary encoder. The easy-to-read, full-color LCD is your guide for preset customization and utility functions, including granting access to remote control with your mobile device via the Fender Tone app. Open the app, and its highly intuitive visual interface allows you to take full advantage of the LTX50’s sonic capabilities in record time. Once you have your perfect sound dialed in, you can then share your results with the Fender Mustang amp community, not to mention audition other players’ contributions. You may even find a whole new source for inspiration!

Connect your mobile device via the auxiliary input or Bluetooth, and the LTX50 becomes your personal jukebox and backing band — perfect for playing along with your favorite tracks. For those late-night sessions, a headphone output is also available to keep the peace within your household.

Ready for the stage and the studio

The Mustang LTX50 is more than a practice and rehearsal partner — its considerable 50 watts of power puts you in control of your gigging destiny. In other words, it's more than capable of keeping up with the band, with plenty of headroom to spare. Using the optional LTX-5 footswitch opens your Mustang up to real-time preset and effect switching, making it capable of changing your entire rig with a single footswitch tap. No microphone to put in front of your speaker? No problem: the XLR Line Out sends a direct signal of your carefully sculpted tone to any audio board, eliminating the need to find the “sweet spot” on your speaker cone. Last, but certainly not least, the Mustang LTX50 links up with your Mac or PC via USB-C as an audio interface to help you record your best licks in your favorite recording environment — no need for additional hardware.

Fender Mustang LTX50 Features:

  • Versatile 50W combo amplifier perfect for practice, playing live, and recording
  • 50 onboard amp and FX models with complete signal chain customization
  • Expanded 100 total preset slots offer near-limitless room to create your perfect amp tones

Reviews

What a great amp!
First, I am a beginner at guitar. I bought myself a starter guitar for Christmas and have been learning by lessons for 2 months. I saw some reviews and videos of the LT20 which led me to videos and reviews of the LTX50. I've had it for 2 days as of this writing and I have to say I am blown away! This amp will take me on my guitar journey for hopefully many years. I love it.
Now let me write about Sweetwater Sound. Noah, is a consummate professional and actually cares for his account holders. He called after I ordered the amp and after I ordered a cord. The customer service exhibited by him and Sweetwater, in my opinion is second to none. More companies could learn from them. I received my amp a day before the expected date in tip top shape. I had read the owners manual and watched videos so once it arrived there was no learning curve. Once again, thank you Sweetwater for being the company that you are and hiring people that actually care about the customer experience.
Music background: I played trumpet and.piano growing up and into young adulthood but stopped. Now at 71, the bug has bitten me.again and I am having a blast!
What a great amp!
I freaking' love this amp! Full disclosure, I am a beginner with guitar but I have some experience using polyphonic synths. The presets are great and I've only gone through about 50 of the 75. I have created a couple of presets myself and downloaded a few from the cloud. Very easy to use, change and save presets. I have also connected via Bluetooth to my Amazon Fire tablet with the Fender Tone app. Very easy to use and a great visual way to see the effects, amps and pedals available which are numerous.
I would be remiss to not mention the best customer service I've ever experienced in my 71 years!

Backround on clean amps, fender twin Reverb, princeton, blue jr.

For heavy gain amps, ive had a 5150, jsx 100, and various marshall stacks.

This cheap amp, is light, and it sounds great on cleans and the metal tones are awesome actually. So much so that im going to go pick up an LTD so I can really hear this thing sing.

Music background: 25 years
Great Amp
Received in perfect condition, amp sounds good and really easy to add/edit presets. Shout out to Chris for always reaching out to make sure everything was on point..
FENDER LTX 50

Of the 70 presets about 50 are instantly usable with no tweaking. I've been playing rock/metal/ classical for 40 years. Started with EVH/RR/Page then Satch /VaiSRV/HendrixGNR/MetallicaCobain Cantrel /Thayhil. When nu metal hit I went back to Blackmore/Gibbons/Iommi. Just under $ and light as a feather. Like any new amp it's almost too crisp. I didn't get the footswitch or the app. It's so easy to edit on the front panel I don't plan on dealing with another app. I play an SG with a SD 57 in the bridge. Also use the Labella Iommi strings 8-32 tuned to E.
