This 15-inch, 1,100-watt speaker is perfect for live music applications, and just as appropriate for schools, churches, or even corporate A/V installations. The coverage is wide and consistent, and doesn't sound strange when you get out of the main coverage area - some of the major factors Sweetwater considers when we're designing live sound systems. Whether you use it as a PA speaker or a stage monitor you can expect tight and powerful lows, rich and detailed mids, and smooth highs from the Milan M15.

Turbosound Milan M15 Powered PA Speaker at a Glance:
  • Composite cabinet makes this powerful speaker strong and lightweight
  • Flexible input options for virtually any application
  • Designed to serve double-duty as a floor monitor too
Composite cabinet makes this powerful speaker strong and lightweight

You'll notice the Milan M15 is remarkably lightweight for a 15-inch PA speaker, at just over 60 pounds. That's due to the cabinet design, which is made from injection-molded polypropylene. And if you look close you'll see a ribbed pattern on the cabinet's exterior (it's actually on the interior as well). That ribbing not only adds strength and rigidity, it also helps cut down on cabinet resonance. Basically, the Milan M15 lets you take advantage of a lighter, stronger design without compromising your sound quality.

Flexible input options and sound shaping for virtually any application

You can connect practically any sound source to the Milan M15, from your mixer's line outputs to instruments and microphones. And you've got two inputs available, so the Milan M15 is a perfectly viable solution for coffee shop performances with a guitar and vocal mic. It's also perfect for public speaking - in fact, there's a Speech/Music mode switch that optimizes the performance for those applications.

Designed to serve double-duty as a floor monitor too

The powerful sound and lightweight design make the Milan M15 an ideal main PA speaker, it's designed to serve you well as a stage monitor too. The trapezoidal design doesn't just make it easy to handle, it also angles the Milan M15 up at you when you place it on the side. Switch on the 100Hz low-cut filter, and now you've got a sweet-sounding floor monitor that won't add rumble to your stage sound.

Turbosound Milan M15 Powered PA Speaker Features:
  • Active PA speaker with 15" LF driver and 1,100W Class-D power amp
  • Klark Teknik DSP optimizes your sound with dynamic equalization and intelligent limiting

Best 15's I've Ever Used

I have been using these for almost 2 years now. I live in the high desert in California and use them outdoors quite a bit. I also have them paired with the Turbosound 18b subs and a couple of the Turbosound 12 inch wedge monitors. I heard a fellow sound engineers setup and he was using the 12's and 15's because he was older and wanted lighter gear, but the sound from the speakers was amazing. I knew right away I would end up buying Turbosound speakers for my personal PA rig.

I use a behringer x32 compact console with the s32 digital snake for my shows and any adjustments to the eq I can clearly hear through the speakers. even slight adjustments the speakers respond really well helping me dial in sound very precisely and getting things to sound how I want them to.

They are a bit on the heavy side, but they feel like a tank and have been putting up with the abuse of being in high winds, dirt and sand doing outdoor gigs very well. The only detrimental thing with these speakers is if it is a hot sunny day, they will thermally shut down if you do not have some fans blowing cool air on the back of them.

I can't really say it's a fault of the speaker since they clearly do not have a built-in fan. So, if you plan on buying and using these outdoors in a hot environment that you get some kind of fans to blow air on them. It has worked for me... although it doesn't look very cool to do that. I take a 1/2 star away for that, otherwise they would be a five. Turbosound might want to think about adding a fan or passive heatsink on the back of these to help with that.

Otherwise these speakers handle loud levels for hours and hours. I once did an outdoor gig with 8 stoner/doom bands starting in the day in the heat and going into the night and with the fans they were good. Once the sun was down I didn't need the fans anymore.

As far as comparison goes, I've used EV's in the venue I worked at before COVID shut it down, JBL's, and I've heard QSC's. While those speakers cost more, I'd put these Turbosounds right up there with them anytime. They sound great.

I'm including a youtube video of a private party I did sound for. You can't see the main speakers, but I'm using 2 of the M15's and 2 of the M18b's. The video was shot with an iphone I believe, no editing of sound was done.

Milan m15

Built like a tank. Using it now as foldback and it excels on vocals even as a 15inch. Smooth and free from any harshness. I have many JBL Eon's as foldback back and mains but I think this one wins in the sound quality department. No Bluetooth or fancy settings but that's what my mixer is for right?

Milan M15 quality

To gain more power we recently decided to upgrade our 10-year old Behringer B1520DSP FOH bins to the Turbosound Milan M15 (we must say the 600w B1520DSP's continue to astonish us with their power, depth and warmth - they've set our live production comparison standards extremely high).

Our changeover to the Turbosounds has been seamless - and as we'd hoped (given the Behringer sound continues to amaze us, especially the bottom end without a sub) - these bins look, feel and run superbly. Highs are crystal clear but totally smooth, mids project strongly and smoothly especially in SPEECH mode, bottom end is huge down and we've measure it down to about 35Hz, and it's so even it's crazy.

Projection by just 2 bins across a wide audience floor is very even with a very big sweet spot even when mixing in stereo, and the option to polemount angled down from a high stage is fantastic.

Power to burn and we know of at least 2 local sound hirers who continually run these bins flatout all night every night and after years still have pristine performance from them.

For such powerful bins they are relatively light to lift - only slight issue we have is that the top handle location is a little unbalanced (but we'd suggest screwing an M10 eyebolt into the rear top rigging pot which then makes carrying and lifting easy, also doubles as a handy cable tie).

The No 1 Speakers of the decade

I have heard a lot of powered speakers but the Turbosound Milan M15 is the best one I have ever heard. I purchased 2 of them and my Brother and I are Icons in the music business and when we both heard these speakers we were blown away by the sound clarity. Lots of Bass and mids if you want. Everyone that hears these speakers play wants us to play for them at their gig. The Milan M 15 sounds great when played outdoors not unlike other speakers that sounds trashy when played out doors. If you want some Excellent speakers for your money then I would suggest you go with these. Lots of power, great sounds.

The best speakers I've ever used.

My band had a pair of Behringer Eurolive B215D speakers for small clubs. I LOVE those speakers, but as we started playing bigger shows I needed to upgrade the PA system to handle bigger rooms. I've heard other bands with PA speakers by brands like QSC that sound great, but are incredibly overpriced. I started doing some research and came across the Turbosound website. I had never heard of the brand but figured I'd give them a go. I was totally unprepared for the sound and quality of these speakers. These things are crystal clear, with no hiss. Unbelievably balanced sound quality and tons of headroom. I have these set at 12 o'clock and my X32 mixer at maybe 1/3 and these things *pounded* a 150 person club. There is plenty of bottom end, but I have these matched with the Milan M18 subs. Weight wise they are a little heavy, but nothing an able body person can't handle. I can't recommend these enough.
