These are a great bargain for the price. Well made, light weight and do everything needed for our mic'ing purposes.

Really nice boom stands for on stage
Seems like I may be a little hard on my boom stands what with playing a lot and throwing them in a stand bag. Compared to my old On-Stage booms these seem to be better built and a little more heavy duty. Only time will tell about their durability but right now it seems like they should hold up longer than my old booms did.

These stands are perfect for my live performances or for my recording studio. These suited all of my needs!

Music background: Band-leader, songwriter, engineer
Decent stands, crazy low price
These stands cinch up tight and hold in place very well (no droop in the boom and I have had them for 8 years). In fact, they hold against droop better than a couple K&M stands that I have. They reach a nice height if necessary. I use them a lot for live situations where the stands get roughed up a bit, and never had one fail me. The downside is they are very lightweight compared to your better quality stands, like my DR Pro stands. But for most purposes, I appreciate the lighter weight. Occasionally, I will add some extra weight at the base of the MS7701B stands when I put heavy mics on them or need to position mics up high. For the price, they are very good.

Budget Stands
Don't confuse these with heavy-duty studio stands,these are budget minded two-fers. For home studio or band practice,not heavy gigging on the road. Stiil,a good deal.
