Except that it cam a day earlier than expected. I'll take that any day!

I'm putting together a small home studio together and want to get organized. I came across this mic stand tray on the site here and noticed in a review below that it's the perfect size for a Moog Minitaur, which I have and have been wanting to put on something that keeps it accessible but out of the way of all my other gear. I'll second what the other person said - it's a PERFECT size for a Moog Minitaur, almost as if it were made for it. It's nothing to put together - just screw the arm into the underside of the tray and mount it to your mic stand and you're good to go. It's got a good sturdy feel to it and I couldn't be happier with the little thing now that my Moog is right where I can get to it. If you have a Mintaur or just want a handy tray to put your stuff right where you can get to it, look no further. And again, big shout out to my sales engineer Dave Brow for yet again getting this out to me super fast. Sweetwater is king!

May 2018 - I got one for a home voiceover "closet" setup with two Atlas chromed microphone stands. They mount to the thicker base vertical shaft and to the upper shaft. They stay in place with what I put on them.

I immediately ordered two more, and I recommend them for a stable, static situation. Held on these are an Audient interface, iPad Mini on a stand, Anker powered USB hub strip, Cloud Lifter, etcetera These metal platforms naturally resonate when tapped so I have added Con-Tact foam cushioning, NOT adhesive, the type that is formed in tiny squares designed to be separated by pulling apart.

I'm adding a Yamaha AG03 mixer for my microphone type options, and I'm getting another one of these.

They do not tilt and lay flat in a stable manner. Not tilting is one less mechanism to cause issues.

This is a perfect tray for placing a MOOG Minitaur within operating range... just robust enough for the job. The MOOG Minitaur can easily be placed atop the tray (relatively securely), or holes can be drilled in the tray to affix the MOOG Minitaur directly to the tray (after removing the rubber feet) providing a VERY secure mounting device.

I have replaced the screw that secures the tray to the bar, however, with a handle/knob type fastener that provides faster/easier adjustments without need for any tools. The handle/knob fastener is easier to find than a small screw should the tray become separated from the bar.

I use a 6x9 tablet and it fits perfect on this tray. I run the Xair with an Behringer XR12. Get one NOW!
