Widest I can find
I have these 4.5in straps on all my basses. Very comfortable and very durable. I truly appreciate the weight distribution on those long nights. I've tried more expensive straps, but these are my go-to and at this price point they really are a great value. I keep expecting Levi's to raise their prices.

Forgot one tip for Levys Straps
When not in use roll them up as tight as possible, put an elastic band or two around. Do this as often as possible when able. Then reverse it do the same. This will help break down the leathers memory faster than when just using it on your guitar. I honestly don't think these straps will ever wear out. One thing as with all straps the leather ends will become loose and wear out, that's why I use Schaller S Locks. It's a done deal with these on. I've never had either fail me.

Levy’s straps
I own 5 of them all wide except for a 3" suede. They take a while to break in but it's worth the wait. I just purchased a new Rickenbacker bass from Sweetwater and as my tradition states new guitar, = new strap. The only problem with these straps is getting the Schaller strap locks on the strap itself. I have the other rubber O ring style locks, even the Levy's orange ones. They pop off sometimes. I've found even as good and tight the strap opening on the strap is it still loosens. I normally have to compress the leather to get it fastened on but takes a while. This was my dream bass for years and taking no chances. These straps are the best. I use them on all the guitars I perform with. You can't go wrong.
