I now have 3 sets of various heights of these Ultimate Support stands and they are all high quality, robust, aesthetically appealing monitor stands. I highly recommend and will buy again in the future!

I purchased these stands for my home studio's JBL 308 monitor speakers primarily to move them off the desk, and thus stop my desk from acting as a third speaker. My other motivation for getting the speakers off the desk was that I needed that top shelf space for the new dual 32" 4K displays. I also got the MS-80B Desktop Monitor Stands to position on the MS-90 top plates (wonderful design for that) so that I could create a more complete decoupling and have some tilt control, as well. I filled the columns with sand for more inertial mass and diffusion. Absolutely perfect! My monitors sound better than they ever have. Plus, they're now at a much better level for my ears. These stands are rock steady, even with the rubber feet popped on (because I have hardwood floors here). Cannot think of a single con. All pros! Way to go Ultimate Support! And thanks Sweetwater!

Every speaker I had in the past has always been companion by a sturdy stand. I recently got Newman's and got this stands 45". Once you order them to go and buy sand. Make sure the sand is dry, you don't want water dripping on the flooring. I got them during winter in Atlanta and so took forever for the sand to dry in separate buckets and a mini heater. Only fill the large cavity, goa head, and tap with a pencil before and after you'll clearly hear the difference in resonance that the tube transmits if empty and also sturdiness.

I then went ahead and ordered the table stand for added angle and rotation, This is a clean design, looks like it all makes sense and is not made up.

Yes, this may seem like an "unnecessary purchase" but frequency buildup due to surface resonance can make your room and monitoring muddy in given freqs.

These stands are the perfect answer for what I needed. They are stable and strong. My studio colors are Grey, White and Black. So I chose the Black version. Looks great!

These are solid, classy, perfect height (45") with my KRK V8s.

My only complaints would be:
1-the base/footing should be a bit stronger & wider.
2-Should be compatible with the MS-80Bs Decoupling Pads

Aside from these points, I give them a 8 out of 10
