I've only had it a short time and so far, so good. I bought it to screw-mount it to a stand and use as a personal keyboard monitor. I haven't tried that yet, but I like that you can run an output through it that isn't effected by the volume controls on the front. However, I've placed it on a sidetable and use it at home to monitor my guitar modeler and keyboard. It's loud for it's size, but I don't want to max it out because the bass begins to rattle the encloser a bit. It's not even past half volume on the front and my Helix volume isn't maxed out, but it has more than enough bass-fullness and volume for me.
