The mat rolls out easily and back up just the same. I like the elastic band that came with it. It's a sturdy mat and my guitars don't slide around on it. The material hasn't scratched any of them. I'm not really limited to where I can use it and it packs away easily. Well worth the investment and should be in every gig bag. Printing on it isn't perfect but I don't care about that. I bought it for the service it will give me not perfection.

I can't believe how rugged this work mat is for the price. I've been doing my guitar setups on a large folding table with a folded sheet for guitar body protection, and a rolled up towel for neck support. Man, I've almost lost many of my guitars on the floor due to the slippery surface. Now I just lay the mat down, and it grips my guitar so firmly that it's not going anywhere. So no more close calls for me. I also purchased the swiveling neck cradle. No more towels.

I use to just lay down a towel when cleaning or working on my guitars and this is a much better alternative. It cleans up easier, it keeps the guitar in place and I think it pads the work surface better.

Exactly what I needed. Perfect size and soft

I bought this with the Cradle Cube (they're available as a bundle, or separately), and they turned out to be really worth it. I had been changing strings by propping my guitar neck up on whatever was handy, while the body kept sliding around on the table. It was maddening and also was just inviting a serious accident. The cradle and mat keep everything in place. And as someone else pointed out, they do not stink! Many such products are made of materials that smell awful, but not these. Highly recommended.
