A Powerful Stereo Mixer for the Stage and Studio

At Sweetwater, Yamaha is synonymous with two things: incredible quality and wallet-friendly prices. The MG10X CV delivers both of those features in spades, and it's just the thing to streamline both your live and studio setups. This mixer boasts 10 versatile inputs, including XLR, 1/4-inch, phone/RCA type pin jack inputs for compatibility with a wide range of sources. Two XLR and phone outputs deliver your crystal-clear stereo sound, with the ability for near-endless tweaking via the 24 effect programs and two channels of single-knob compression. Above all, the Yamaha MG10X CV’s color-coded controls, lit on/off switches, and highly durable powder-coated steel chassis make this mixer a rock-solid, intuitive solution for your mixing needs!

D-PRE discrete Class-A mic preamps deliver a clean and natural sound

The MG10X CV mixer employs Yamaha's transparent D-PRE preamps, which provide more power with lower impedance, delivering natural-sounding bass and smooth highs. D-PREs simply sound good - without hyping any specific elements of your mix. The D-PRE's pure sound will maximize your microphone’s sonic potential and ensure that every element in your mix is clear, distinct, and articulate.

EQ and highpass filter allow for effective sound-shaping

Whether you're tweaking your sound to perfection or removing some unwanted frequencies, effective and powerful EQ is necessary for building a successful mix. The Yamaha MG10X CV’s powerful EQ section provides you with ample control over the tonal balance of your mix.

One-knob compressors provide easy-to-use dynamics control

When you're in the midst of a live event, you don't have time to tweak a large number of complex outboard units. To resolve this issue, the MG10X CV features simple, time-saving one-knob compressors. Simply twist a single rotary control and you can dial in livelier guitars, punchier basses, tighter drums, and well-defined vocals.

Built-in SPX digital effects add polish and professionalism

In order to add that final glue and polish to your mix, the Yamaha MG10X CV provides you with a comprehensive suite of 24 editable digital effects. Based on Yamaha's acclaimed SPX digital multi-effects processor, the MG10X CV delivers high-quality reverb, delay, chorus, phaser, flanger, tremolo, and auto-wah, in addition to distortion, pitch effects, and more.

Yamaha MG10X CV Stereo Mixer Features:

Reviews

Great Features
For a small mixer, very simple to use and great features.
The compressors on channels one and two are actually pretty smooth , and the onboard Reverb and delays are really good too.
Simple to route to your speakers with a separate level to your workstation Daw or recording device.
Also recommend the little adapter for mounting to a mic stand. Of course, I have to give a shout out to JEFF LAW and Brett, helpful advice.
Yamaha MG10X CV 10
This mixer is all I expect for sure and Joey is awesome Help!!
Nice mixer
Originally purchased this to provide more access to my aging PA system. It use allowed for an excellent interface for vocals with instruments going direct to the pa. The mixer provides for good vocal presence with superb effects. Subsequently purchased 2 powered speakers (from Sweetwater of course) and now this mixer really shines. Old pa is gone. The new rig really lets the MG10X strut its stuff. Has enough inputs for the small combo I play with. Vocals are dynamic. Instruments (acoustic guitar, harmonica, and cajun) have great presence with the added benefit of blended effects and good tone. A lot of bang for the buck.
Music background: Been in bands for 60 yrs. Guitar, bass, vocals. Most music formats.
Good for what I needed
I needed more microphone inputs so I already had a interface so guess I didn't need the Yamaha MG10xu which is a mixer and interface all in one. Sweetwater was out of stock of them also at the time. Seen the MG10x cv10 and there was a demo for less. I already had a interface so I can just plug this mixer into it. It is doing what I attended to achieve for more inputs plus it has compression and FX. I'm still a novice but I sound great live streaming now and with more mics and more inputs.
Music background: Playing kazoo and triangle.
Almost perfect
We use a mixer almost exclusively for vocals that front a jazz trio. On occasion we need sound support for one of the instruments. When our "other brand" mixer died we needed a replacement. Owing to Yamaha's reputation, ruggedness and simplicity we went with this mixer. We weren't disappointed. Super clean sound, super simple to use. The hash marks for suggested settings work extremely well as a place to start, and we didn't need to move much off those settings. We didn't need any gain on the condenser mics. Very little feedback, but dialing back the high frequency EQ a notch or two took care of it. Weaknesses? Only one. Once levels of each channel are set for the mains, this is the balance and mix for the monitors. Individual channels cannot be volume adjusted in the monitors. You CAN send the Effects Out to the monitors, and then you'd have control of individual channels in the monitor mix, BUT doing so would mean disabling the Effects engine, and we use a little reverbs on the vocals. Deduct half a star due it not having separated level controls for the monitor mix. If it had that, the mixer would be perfect.
