These are pretty much as good as it gets. Not just for the money, either.
Lots of other string companies have too zingy sounding strings when they're new, but not these babies. They're bright and present without having unwanted overtones or undertones as soon as they're on your guitar.
Custom lights are the way to go if you're not trying to install a bridge doctor on your scallop-braced HD28 within 20 years. But I really love how these sound on small bodied acoustics. They add an almost paradoxical richness to the boxy sound of a parlor.

I use these on all my acoustics and love them. Tried everything and always come back to these. I like a light feel and don't beat on my guitars.

Playing on steel strings again after many years on silk & steel due to hand surgeries. Have my Martin 000-18 strung with 11's MA535 and they sound really balanced & feel easy for me to play on... all styles. They also last a long time & after silk & steel string changes every few weeks ..now I change strings maybe every two months. I have tried other brands also 80/20's but I keep going back to Phosphor Bronze MA535 , I agree D'Addario Phosphor Bronze are a close 2nd.

These are very good acoustic strings at a very reasonable price. The feedback from our customers is that the tone is good, they last, and feel good to the touch. The closest competing string are D'Addario Phosphor Bronze. The customer's we introduce to these strings stick with them. Definitely recommend the 11's, 12;s and 13's.

Just replaced my stock strings on my Washburn Acoustic with these Martins. Wow, what a difference! Don't let the price fool you, these are great strings! I normally use Elixer strings on my electrics. As a hobbiest of 35 years always wanting quality products, but at affordable prices. As for lastibility I can't yet say but at these prices will purchase again!
