Infuse Your Wireless Transmitter with Condenser-like Sound

Tired of the midrange-heavy tone you get from your standard dynamic stage mic? If so, you'll appreciate the Telefunken M80-WH capsule. It infuses your wireless handheld mic with condenser-like performance. It also reduces proximity effect, thereby eliminating muddy sound reproduction. Beyond that, its supercardioid design supplies effective feedback rejection. The M80-WH is compatible with a wide range of wireless handheld transmitters, from Shure to Lectrosonics to Sony. If you want to take the sound of an expensive condenser mic onstage, Sweetwater recommends the M80-WH capsule.

Reviews

This thing is SWEET…
Used it on one of my Shure SLX-4 wireless units…the 58 is usually kinda dark (at least to my ears) and I have to EQ more highs into it which always puts me at the hairy edge of feedback or ring…but this thing is bright out of the box so I can put a little low end on it and go…
I want more of them…makes me wish they would just make the whole unit (but why really when the Shure transmit/receive mechanism works so well).
Thanks as always to my pal Matt for his help…good stuff from good people who are ready to help…that's why I use Sweetwater…
If you like bright(er) sounding vocal mics and you have a compatible Shure body…just do it.
