I have had this mic for over a year and it has been awesome. It has been my first microphone and I really love it. Also it is a great deal!

Considering buying as all of my Presonus products have over- delivered. I read the existing reviews & found that even if the (included) mic mount fails...Presonus sell a Presonus Universal Shock Mount for PX-1 & M7 Condenser Microphones....sold here @ Sweetwater....so all good!

I don't like writing bad reviews but something about this microphone just sounds off to me. Its better than those cheap Amazon microphones but you would be better off just saving a little more money and buying a Samson C01, MXL 770, MXL 990, or Audio Technica at2020.

So this is probably the best cardioid you could by for the money - it really picks up well and perfect for voice. So I won't give it 1 star.

BUT - I 100% guarantee the cheezy mic mount will break after just a little use. It's just too flimsy.

AND - you can't get another mount. Mic is now pretty much useless and you cant order a $3 part to fix that.

Bummer - they make a pretty good product otherwise...
