I've tried quite a few other brands for roundwounds but I always come back to GHS Bass Boomers. I have to switch between multiple genres (blues, rock, modern rock, ska punk, punk, country) and alternate between finger and pick, and these strings just sound great with any technique and in any mix.

I have used a pair of these strings for about 8 months now and I love them! Really nice and rich bottom end and crisp tone on the upper strings

I have these on my fender p bass and love them! Just put them on my squier cv70 jazz bass with Seymour Duncan qp pups and WOW! I had flats on it but will never do that again, these are my new strings for life! Love the tone and feel just perfect! Pick up a set you will agree!

I like softer sounding bass strings, less bright the better to me but not a flat wound player. For rock, from ac/dc to Colin greenwood of Radiohead style of playing. These 105's are great. I especially love them months after they are broken in. Sound and feel better to me.

I haven't used any other string since Bass Boomers were introduced. great special but I use the L3045.
