I have used a pair of these strings for about 8 months now and I love them! Really nice and rich bottom end and crisp tone on the upper strings

Great tone and feel

I have these on my fender p bass and love them! Just put them on my squier cv70 jazz bass with Seymour Duncan qp pups and WOW! I had flats on it but will never do that again, these are my new strings for life! Love the tone and feel just perfect! Pick up a set you will agree!

Love these strings

By Graham Hargrove from Woodland wa on April 29, 2021 Music Background: 25 years playing the fender precision and jazz bass

I like softer sounding bass strings, less bright the better to me but not a flat wound player. For rock, from ac/dc to Colin greenwood of Radiohead style of playing. These 105's are great. I especially love them months after they are broken in. Sound and feel better to me.

I haven't used any other string since Bass Boomers were introduced. great special but I use the L3045.

Has Something Changed?

By Robert Jensen from Florida on August 28, 2022 Music Background: Club musician/Worship Team since 1981

I've used Boomers for years and years and always loved the strings (45-105's) but the last set I bought felt coarse and hurt the finger tips on both hands after 40 minutes of playing. Have the y changed their manufacturing process or out-sourced things to a different factory. I'm going to have to throw away this set and try something else. Very disappointing as I've never had a problem in the past.
