Bought three of these stands for my new Matador tumba, conga, quinto. These stands are very stable, they hold the drums securely and don't 'walk' regardless of the surface they're on. Very good and stable stands!
My two major complaints are the weight - these things weigh over 11 pounds EACH. That's a lot of extra weight to carry from gig to gig. The second complaint I have is with the fasteners - I've had to replace all the nuts with lock nuts to prevent them from working off the bolts while playing. After the third time picking up nuts and bolts off the floor after a show, I replaced all nuts and bolts with lock nuts and slightly longer bolts to accommodate them.

Excellent folding stand, just a bit heavy..

I've good luck with these stands. They are sturdy and don't move much. I can't speak for others and their experiences with them but mine have been pretty good?

I bought a pair of these stupid stands for a very nice professional set of congas. They slip, and let the congas tip over within the basket so I'm constantly having to adjust them while also trying to play with the band. They completely suck. Absolutely useless.
