Bright, Lightweight Bells from Musser
Many Sweetwater percussionists have fond memories of playing their first notes and practicing their first scales on Musser mallet instruments like this Lightweight Bell Lyra. Its satin-finished aluminum bars span two octaves and are tuned to A442Hz, which provides a bright and sparkling sound. You can have too much of a good thing, however, which is why a damper also rests underneath the bars to prevent unwanted sustain. The Musser Lightweight Bell Lyra’s carrier plus deluxe frame make both performing and transporting super simple. Finally, this bell lyra comes with mallets, plumes, a cover, and a strap.
