Favorite Strings
First time using them was when I bought my D-18 Modern Deluxe, now I don't use anything but these on my Martin.
So far so good
I put a set on my d18 two weeks ago and have about 20 plus hours of playing time on them they still sound very good. I think the tone is a bit more natural than the coated strings I was using. If they will last for 2 or 3 more weeks I feel I have got my money's worth. Haven't tried them on my d 28 but I intend to
Music background: Bluegrass
Amazing Strings!
Just got a new Martin with these strings installed and I am blown away with how they sound and feel. I immediately ordered a few more sets and put one on another Martin today and same impression. Have been using the lifespans for a while now, but these have a bit of a smoother and more pleasing sound. Single notes seem better with more sustain. They definitely are pricey, but hoping they last a long time. Time will tell.
Excellent
These strings are fantastic. Great feel and sound. They also last a long time. I am going on four months and they are still going strong. I ditched PB strings nearly two years ago and started using Monel strings. These are a step up from Monel strings in my opinion. I use these on both Mahogony and Rosewood guitars. Give them a try. I do notice that they do need to settle for a day or two.
Great feeling, Even Tone
These are a really nice set of strings. I have them on a parlor style guitar that I use strictly for fingerstyle. They feel comfortable under my fingers and the tone is well balanced. I'm eager to get additional sets and try them on my Martin dreadnought and mahogany 0-18.
