Reviews

Great Strings
Put these on my Yamaha FG5 and love the tone they produce. I'll be buying more of these.
Magic strings
Playing these on a Martin GPC-16 and I noticed a reduction in string buzz, a solid feel in the strings, and a beautiful deep metallic tone. I don't see a reason to play with any other strings.
I could tell the difference right away
I put these on. I'd been using Martin SP's. When I put Luxes on the difference was anything but subtle. The tone was clear. I mostly fingerpick. So not the brightest tone. But when I flat picked the strings just ring. And I think there was a noticeable increase in sustain.
Music background: Play mostly acoustic Martin Streetmaster. Also classical and electric.
Good Strings
A little pricey and not sure why but the strings definitely produce a brighter sound. Also the low end seems a lot more pronounced. I've been using extra light SP but this custom gauge works. I've ordered another set and will put them on my SJ200. Using the first set on my Martin 000-15.
Not Exceptional
I have used these strings for several weeks on my Martin 000-15SM. At this point, I'm not sure why Martin developed these strings. They are not any better than the myriad of other strings produced under the Martin brand. They do not have a smooth feel and produce a good bit of string squeak and drag. That being said, the tone isn't bad. I will go back to my favorites for this guitar: Martin's MA535T.
