Want to add a set of bongos to your Aspire Double Conga Stand? No problem! Latin Percussion's model LPA244 Aspire Bongo Mount Bracket makes expanding your conga set a piece of cake. The Aspire Bongo Mount Bracket attaches to the center pole of your LPA653 conga stand (which comes standard with the Aspire Wood Conga Set available here at Sweetwater) and suspends a pair of bongos slightly above the height of your congas. The bracket provides an extra-secure fit for bongos with four mounting holes, and an adjustable tilter allows you to achieve the perfect playing angle.

Really nice Bongo Mount

First of all, I am using this mount with the Gibraltar double conga stand and everything fit and went together perfectly !
The only thing that I would ask for on this is a height adjustment on the mount and angle adjustment on the bongo bracket... both of which can be addressed with shims.... all in all... Fantastic mount !

Great Bongo Mount

This unit is well crafted and really holds the bongos in place. I would like to see the unit made with a slightly longer strap though. My bongos are LPs and the fit was still very snug.

Solidly build but not for the slide-mount Aspires

This is a rock solid unit. Note that it is designed to work with the older, wingnut-mount Aspire drums. If you have the newer slide-mount Aspire stand, you can order the correct unit from Sweetwater.

Bongo Specific

This piece is great. Solid like someone else commented. Works on Aspire and Matador Conga stands BUT if your bongo is a more advanced model that isn't a Matador, the strap won't wrap around all the way. It'll be short of the hook opening for the strap.
The long bolt with the wing nut in this case would need to be cut, drilled out of the U shaped piece (it's gently welded onto it) and replaced with a longer bolt so the strap wraps around properly.
