Reviews

LP Cajon Kick pedal
Nice piece of hardware and very adjustable. It has a stiff feeling right out of the box, but hopefully with some use and more adjustments, I can get it just right.

Overall great pedal
I love this pedal and use it regularly. I play it pretty hard during the rock songs at gigs. The only complaint is the cable. It has come off once, and I broke one, both during a gig. Luckily I bought a spare pedal after the 1st time it failed. I'm ordering a couple of cables now.

Mechanical Failure
After less than 2 months of ownership and light practicing and during the third gig with a cafe acoustic trio the cable came off on the pedal end. Fortunately, I had the an allen wrench on hand to repair it on the spot but my confidence in this pedal has been seriously shaken. The problem is your music depends on two tiny recessed set screws to hold the cable in place and they appear to be seriously under engineered for the job. Also, getting the pedal to stay attached on the beater end will take you hours of study as it tends to walk away more than most. The solution is hook and loop tape on the bottom to relieve some of the pressure on the parts.
