Value-packed LDC from Lewitt

Every studio needs at least one great-sounding large-diaphragm condenser mic. And while you can blow your entire mic allowance on a single high-end microphone, Sweetwater also carries many affordable mics that will allow you to build a solid mic locker and without exceeding your budget. One such option is the Lewitt LCT 240 PRO. Delivering tremendous bang for your buck, the LCT 240 PRO is a workhorse that excels in any studio or stage scenario. Its robust 142dB SPL handling lets you use it on tom toms and cranked electric guitar amps, yet it’s more than capable of capturing the nuances of a sensitive vocal performance or cello sonata. It’s also a great voice mic for podcasts and other streaming formats. Whatever the source, the Lewitt LCT 240 PRO captures it with full-range crystalline clarity. The LCT 240 PRO comes complete with a mic mount, a windscreen, and a cushioned mic bag.

Double your value

Given the Lewitt LCT 240 PRO’s gentle price tag, using two of them as a stereo pair is a no-brainer — which in no way negates this mic’s efficacy when used singly on acoustic guitar, drums, or really, any acoustic or electric instrument. Its durable, lightweight zinc die-cast housing and compact form factor make it perfect for capturing snare drums and other hard-to-reach sources in the studio and onstage. Even better: double your value with a stereo pair. They’re supremely cost-effective when deployed as drum overheads, room mics, or to capture a grand piano in glorious stereo. Get your Lewitt LCT 240 PRO — or a stereo pair of them — from Sweetwater today!

Stage or studio, there’s a Lewitt mic that’s perfect for the job

Since the fall of 2009, Lewitt microphones have made their way onto some of the biggest stages across Europe and America. Combining exceptional clarity and forward-thinking technical innovation at a remarkably accessible price point, these wonderful mics more than rival long-standing industry standards. What’s more, the selection runs the gamut from robust dynamic handheld models to top-notch studio condensers. Whether you’re looking for something for your next gig or your next recording session, a Lewitt microphone from Sweetwater is an excellent choice.

Reviews

Awesome Microphone and it's Price
I am very impressed with this microphone. I have recorded a vocal arrangement and even without processing, the sound is totally clear!! Listen for yourself!
Music background: Music Professor, Jazz Pianist, Choral Conductor
Excellent mic!
During band practice I usually keep a field recorder running or place a mic in the middle of the room connected to my DAW to record new ideas. I was very surprised at how good this little thing sounded. It picked things up the other mics and recorders didn't. Sounds great!
Great at everything Mic
I bought this Mic because a lot of people claim it's great at recording Guitar at close range and high SPL's. It does!... But I've recorded acoustic guitar with it. I've recorded vocals with it. It just does everything well and I'm going to buy a couple more... I also did a one Mic recording of a drumset and it was amazing... What can I say, it is amazing.
Music background: In 1964 I was 5 years old and saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. I became a drummer at that point. I started recording and producing at age 20.
I love it
Exactly what i was looking for
Clean vocals
Captures the highs and lows of vocal range
