An Affordable, Versatile SDC from Lewitt

Engineered in Austria, the Lewitt LCT 140 AIR small-diaphragm condenser microphone features a proprietary capsule and circuit design that delivers a natural, well-balanced, beautifully detailed, and open rendition of virtually any source. As you might surmise from its name, the calling card of this well-equipped mic is its switchable “Air” setting, which adds high-end sparkle — perfect for making sources that lack pizazz shine in the mix. Further enhancing the mic’s versatility are a pre-attenuation pad and a highpass filter. If you’ve been looking for an affordable, versatile small-diaphragm condenser mic to capture acoustic instruments, the Lewitt LCT 140 AIR deserves a serious audition.

Double your value

The fact that the LCT 140 AIR is sold as a stereo pair in no way negates this mighty mite’s efficacy when used singly on acoustic guitar, drums, or really, any acoustic instrument. Its durable, lightweight housing and petite form factor make it perfect for capturing snare drums and other hard-to-reach sources in the studio and onstage. But why not double your value with a stereo pair? They’re delightfully cost-effective when used as drum overheads, room mics, or to capture a grand piano in glorious stereo. Get your Lewitt LCT 140 AIR stereo pair from Sweetwater today!

Stage or studio, there’s a Lewitt mic that’s perfect for the job

Since the fall of 2009, Lewitt microphones have made their way onto some of the biggest stages across Europe and America. Combining exceptional clarity and forward-thinking technical innovation at a remarkably accessible price point, these wonderful mics more than rival long-standing industry standards. What’s more, the selection runs the gamut from robust dynamic handheld models to top-notch studio condensers. Reviews

Great Recording Overheads
Nice Crisp, Clean and clear.
Replaced my old overheads and what a monumental difference these matched Mic Pairs make!
Very affordable,Can't beat the price
And as always working with PEPE my Sweetwater Rep is easy and AWESOME!!!
Lives up to the hype!
Needed a pair of small diaphragm condenser mics and decided on these based on my experience with the Lewitt LCT 440 pure. I am so glad I grabbed these. They're nearly silent, pick up the subtle nuance and overtones in my Martin Acoustic and are light as a feather. I am running these into an ART MA Pro II mic preamp and then into a Clarett+ 4pre. Don't hesitate if you are on a budget but looking for great quality pencil mics. Thank you, Andy Eason for getting these out so quickly!
Lewitt LCT 140 Air is fantastic!
Fantastic mics!
Unbroken
First off, the mics sound fantastic. They're my new go-to for drum overheads.

But I had to write a review because they fell out of the back of the van, into my snowy driveway, and I parked on them. They had to be chiseled out of the ice. I was worried they were busted, because they're so light and plastic-y.
I swore if they worked after that, I'd leave a review. And sure enough, they sound as good as ever. Not even a scratch. Good mics, buy em.
Good product. Worth the investment.
Light weight which makes them easy to extend on end of mic stand boom arm as overheads. Also good for many other applications.
Music background: Retired pro bassist.
