Ludwig Classic Snare Stand

Love the old school, flat based, minimalistic look! I was skeptical at first thinking if it was going to be sturdy enough? It is and I'm glad I went with it. I have a 14 X 6.5 Dunnett and a couple of Black Panthers which are on the heavier side of things. This seems to be just as sturdy as my older Tama Road Pro and Ludwig double braced snare stands. The Omni-Ball tilter is awesome! That always seemed to be my chief complaint with snare stands in general, getting the right angle on the snare. The Omni-Ball tilter eliminates all of that. The Fit & Finish seems top shelf. No regrets!

Classic

This thing is a great balance between classic style and the quality I expect out of Ludwig. I play a 60's model "Ringo" Ludwig at most of my gigs and this snare stand fits the look that I was going for. I haven't used it long term yet, so I can't comment on its durability, but I would wager it's going to do the job based on my experience with previous Ludwig hardware.

The Classic Series Snare Stand is super nice. 10/10 recommend

Just got a couple of these guys to help save space for my kit set-up and I love how versatile and clean these stands are. It holds your snare/rack tom very well, despite the slim look. Through each dynamic of playing (soft volume to smacking the drums), it holds the drum remarkably well. The aero-dyne tilter is really awesome and allows you to position the snare exactly how you would like it to be. Because of this I think this snare stand is way more versatile compared to the other flat-based stands from other brands. Also the ability to switch out the feet of the stand makes this even more versatile as far as placement, and helps your set-up get exactly how you want it. 10/10 recommend.
