If you have a Roland Boutique Series synth, Sweetwater would like to recommend a must-have accessory. Roland's K-25m is a 25-note, velocity-sensing keyboard designated for use with the company's Boutique Series synth modules. Less than 12" across, the K-25m is an ultra-portable input solution that also acts as a dock for the JU-06, JP-08, JX-03, and VP-03 models. Once positioned, you have a choice of tilting the module at two different angles for easier viewing and sound programming, or having it lie flat. The Roland K-25m addresses a pitch range of -4 to +5 octaves when teamed up with a Boutique Series synth.

Beautiful little thing. Same size keys as my Casio CZ-101. Takes up little space on my rig and enables me to use my Roland Boutique units without having to use my main keyboard. Best of all, I can alternate between different Boutiques depending on what music I'll be playing. Also, it's very easy to set up.

A very convenient accessory for the Roland Boutiques. If you have the bucks, it is a worthwhile investment.

Ever played a synth on an airplane? I have! If you are a fan of the Roland Boutiques, you NEED one of these. Best way to carry them around. Fits in most bags roughly laptop sized. Sure the keys are tiny and synth action but you're getting portability, direct integration with your Boutique units and a low price here.

Completely frees my JX-03 from the clumsy need to bring a MIDI controller for outside use.

I can't really tell you how nice this thing is in the same way as I can tell you how nice my made in California Telecaster is. I'm not a valid judge of key action because keys are my weakest instrument. However, that being said, I have owned many synths and keyboard controllers over the years. This thing is totally worth the price for its integration with the boutique modules. The keys are small but really play nicely to me and they feel good, not cheap. Mine unexpectedly came with nice wooden side panels to replace the metal ones, making my little JX-03 look vintage. I love it!

Simply put, modern electronic music wouldn't exist without Roland.
