Three Knobs, Endless Reverb!

From JHS’s line of stripped-down, stellar-sounding guitar pedals, the JHS 3 Series Reverb pedal is an extremely versatile verb packed in a streamlined, no-frills package. With just three knobs — Verb, EQ, and Decay — you have access to a range of sounds, from subtle small-room effects to cascading waves of ambience. The EQ knob lets you sweep from bright ’80s hardware-style shimmer to dark, vintage-voiced textures. Additionally, the 3 Series Reverb includes a Pre-delay switch, so your transients won’t get lost in the wash. Guitarists at Sweetwater enjoy the simplicity of the 3 Series Reverb — it’s an excellent stompbox for dialing up sounds fast without getting lost in convoluted controls. And, like all JHS 3 Series pedals, it’s very affordable. So, you’ll have money left over for even more pedals!

JHS 3 Series Reverb Pedal Features:

  • Affordable, streamlined reverb pedal
  • Simple 3-knob design: Verb, EQ, and Decay
  • Sweep between bright shimmering sounds and dark textures
  • Engage the Pre-delay switch to keep your transients from getting lost in the wash
  • Runs on 9-volt DC negative center power (power adapter not included)

Reviews

Superb Reverb
Another great job by Josh and crew ! From sweet detailed tones to otherworldly, this pedal can do it well. This is my second reverb pedal and pairs nicely with a digital effects reverb with 9 settings (spring, church, etc etc). Both are unique but this one has a purer tone.

To infinity and beyond.
Pretty cool reverb nicely priced. I can easily dial in just a perfect touch of it which is indeed great sounding. On the other side of the table where i like to dine is the space jam element this is excellent for those quick trips into the depths of the milky way. Fantastic product easy to dial in no noticeable noise or anything like that. Even comes with a few lil prizes in the box ...

Nice Pedal
Generally reverb pedals are pricey, but the JHS reverb pedal is quite affordable. You don't get all the bells and whistles, what you get is a basic reverb pedal. Very happy with this pedal.

Sweet verb for a good price
Simplicity is my name. This verb took less than a minute to dial up the sound I wanted to hear. The price point is right where I wanted to be. I want the verb laying right under and around my playing. I love to dial up just enough verb that it seems indistinguishable until you switch the pedal off. You notice right away. The EQ knob gives me the ability to tweak for flavor depending on humbuckers or single coils. This pedal and my delay are best friends. Ben Grossman is a prince of a salesman. Since I have been a Sweetwater customer, nobody does it better than Ben. I notice that a lot of the reviews take time to mention their sales person. That means that the folks running the show understand customer loyalty.

Great Pedal. Here's my settings...
Obviously a great price but it sounds great also. After trying many different "always on" settings, here's where I landed.
Verb: 11:00
EQ: Between 12-1:00
Decay: 10:00
Pre-Delay switch: Off (switch down)
Lush but won't wash out your playing.

The pre-delay switch gives a slight delay immediately after your initial note to aid in note definition. Mostly used when Verb & Decay are set at higher levels than above.
Where to put it in the pedal chain? After overdrives and before delay.
