I dig this speaker!

This is the stock speaker that came in my Fender Bassbreaker 15. I feel like this speaker is very versatile and sounds great with any style of music. I have played mellow/melodic songs through it to full on alternative rock and this speaker can handle it all. It never sounds flubby or thin. Overall, I highly suggest this speaker in any amp or cab setup!

Still breaking it in

This type V celestion is clear as a bell.I've only got a couple hours on it.So I haven't turned up yet.However low volume:clean,pushed,driven and OD all sound really good.I put it in an open back 1x12 cab.

Awesome value speaker

Bought this speaker for a DIY cab build simply to test the cab as I was experimenting with different shapes, sizes, features. Plan was to upgrade once I was happy with the cab. It is still in the cab 2+ years later. Sounds great with my solid state Katana and amazing with my Orange Rocker 15 heads. Really can't go wrong with this one.

Overlooked

IMO, this is the best value speaker Celestion has to offer. As a current owner of a creamback, greenback, and g12h30 anniversary, I can confidently say that this speaker is on the same level. Not only does it do great as a standalone, it blends quite well with the previously mentioned speakers. The primary drawback to these speakers is that they tend to not hold their value on the used market. Any amp containing a Celestion Seventy/80 should immediately be upgraded to this speaker, or the other previously mentioned speakers.

Well alright!

Recieved my v type monday and its been getting better and better as the week goes by.At first blush it was really narly with one of my strats and was not so sure about my choice at first.Its is a great fit for my maz 18 nr and enough clarity and cut but not too much.It seems that it has some g12h aniverssary,gold,greenback...but has its own thing is what im trying to say.I was looking at more expensive speakers...but its a great speaker for the $ and it just fits for what i needed.thx sweetwater!
