Crankin' 10"

I popped this into a Marshall mini stack cabinet for bedroom level practice and it sounds awesome. It should get even better once it breaks in.

Winner winner chicken dinner

Ordered a 10" Celestion Greenback and 10" Creamback each 16 Ohms for a custom amp/cab that was built for me. This combination is really solid together. Rapid transients/mids/highs without ice pick in your ear and great bottom end without mush. Being pushed by an old modified Hammond organ amp with between 20-30 watts. I am stoked by this pairing. Thanks Sweetwater for having these great speakers in stock, they were EXACTLY what the Doctor ordered.

Perfect upgrade for a DSL5

This speaker was the perfect upgrade for my DSL5 and allot of reviews say any Marshall. Had the speaker a year and get great cleans and distortion.

A No-Brainer For Any Marshall Amp.

I've read scores of reviews on this speaker and never, not once have I heard anyone say that they didn't like it in a Marshall amp. The only negatives I've read about were with Peavy amps, so be mindful of that.
I've put this G10 Greenback in a Marshall DSL5 and a Marshall Class 5 and it sounds glorious in both of them. Two different amp styles, two different tonal qualities... just glorious. Tight, musical bottom end, bold mids & smooth, singing highs. I also gained considerable headroom in both amps.
The Celestion Greenback is THE classic Marshall speaker, just as the Jensen P10R is THE classic Fender speaker. Classics are so named not because they're old, but because they hold up over time.
"Buy the best, and you'll never be dissatisfied" Put a Greenback in your Marshall and it will make it sound MORE like a Marshall.

Finally getting the sound I've been trying to dial in

I swapped a Greenback into my Marshall DSL5 and it makes all the difference in the world! I can finally hear the tone in my head coming out of the amp. I also noticed my playing is a little different now since attacking the strings makes the tone even better. And as always, Ben Stein, music guru, did a tremendous job helping me out. I won't buy gear from anywhere else.
