Easily Remove Bass Buildup without Losing Power
Sweetwater studio engineers know all too well the struggle inherent to cleaning up a kick drum or bass guitar track without tossing its attack or tone out the window. Eventide presents an efficient solution to this problem with the DeBoom low-frequency EQ plug-in. Based on Eventide’s Structural Split technology — the same tech found in SplitEQ and Physion — DeBoom analyzes an incoming low frequency signal and separates it into its Transient and Tonal properties. This functionality then lets you effortlessly remove the sound’s low frequency muddiness without sacrificing any power from its initial attack. Finally, DeBoom couldn’t be easier to use — it works its magic with just a single knob!
Note: An iLok account is necessary, but no physical dongle is required. Please consult your Sweetwater Sales Engineer if you have questions or concerns.

Reshape, repair, and enhance
Eventide's Structural Split technology is how DeBoom analyzes a low frequency signal and then separates it into Transient (noise, pops, mic plosives, vocal sibilance, attack) and Tonal (sustained notes, harmonics, tone, ambience) elements. Once separated, you can alter Transient components without affecting Tonal ones, and vice versa. In short, DeBoom makes it easier and faster than ever to repair, reshape, and enhance low frequency sources.
