World-class Sound and No-fuss Setup

Putting together a great-sounding PA system is a breeze — if you have a Mackie DRM212, that is. This state-of-the-art active PA speaker is loaded with 1,600 watts of power and innovative DSP to ensure top-notch sound. It’s built for demanding live performances, with custom high-sensitivity transducers and a roadworthy, texture-coated 18mm plywood cabinet. Beyond that, the DRM212 is a breeze to set up, thanks to Mackie’s DRM Control Dashboard, which features a high-contrast, full-color display on the speaker’s back panel. For world-class sound and no-fuss setup, you can’t beat Mackie’s DRM212.

Top-shelf construction offers world-class sound

Because of its top-shelf construction, the DRM212 offers world-class sound. Its 1.4" titanium-diaphragm compression driver was designed especially for its amplifier, ensuring maximum clarity and transparency. Its 12" high-excursion woofer delivers exceptional sensitivity, bass response, and reliability — whatever your application, the DRM212 can tackle it. Enjoy smooth yet punchy low-frequency response thanks to a unique ported design. Experience peak performance while avoiding blowouts courtesy of next-gen protection circuitry. Benefit from optimal acoustic performance by virtue of roadworthy 18mm plywood construction and internal bracing. Beyond that, a dual-angle pole mount yields optimal coverage and minimal reflections.

Loaded with advanced features

The DRM212 is packed with innovative technology, including Impulse DSP for peak performance. Experience reference-quality sound all throughout its entire frequency range thanks to precision crossovers, while linear-phase FIR filtering minimizes inherent anomalies, phase issues, and muddy midrange for crystal-clear sound. Dual independent inputs support mic, line, and instrument signals, plus a dedicated 1/8" stereo aux input. Setup is a snap, courtesy of venue-specific modes with easy-to-use voicings for live, monitor, club, and sub applications. You also get an adjustable 3-band parametric EQ for further customization and tuning, along with an Alignment Delay control for delay stacks. Save and recall up to six user presets, and benefit from Mackie’s DRM Control Dashboard, which includes a high-contrast, full-color display and quick, 1-knob access to configuration, processing, and more. At Sweetwater, we’ve found that the DRM212 has all the features that we demand — and then some.

DRM 212s are truly amazing!

DRM212s and 215s are amazing for the price.
Clear sound, excellent bass response and best of all is these cabinets are made of wood not plastic.

Very durable for road but definitely recommend DRM matching speaker covers.

Clean, Smooth, Beautiful, Amazing!!!

I just got a pair of these in this week. First impression while running my normal test music through them (David Pack"s version of Biggest Part of Me, Michael Jackson, The Girl is Mine, UB40, Toto, ect.)
was that there is a wholeness to the sound, there is no separation between the horn and the speaker, they work harmoniously together to create a great listening experience.

Used it at an outdoor gig under a tent with some pretty loud reggae bands, (I would normally use my QSC KLAs for a show like this) vocals on the these drms were so beautiful and up front but not piercy, guitars and drums were smooth and full sounding (ran them over a pair of KW181s). Coverage was amazingly even no matter what the axis point. I know the KLAs throw farther but these are no slouch in that department either and they are way smoother up front.

I have always loved the Mackies with the EAW NT/Focusing technology, still have a working pair of the original HDs which I LOVE, but these are better and lighter, although the angle on the HDs are better for mons. The controls are easy to adjust and just make sense. Amazing job Mackie, just crossing my fingers in terms of reliability. For the price you can"t go wrong, I haven"t heard a better box in the under $1k range and I"ve experience a lot of them.
